The City House

Dined here with a business associate on a sunny lunchtime. It makes a change from the dingy dungeon wine bar cellars so often the choice in the city.
The service was quiet and attentive and the potted shrimp was plentiful and tasty. I had dorset crab to follow - a slimmers delight with a nice fresh salad and two mounds of white and brown crabmeat, which was fresh and succulent. My colleague had the lamb cutlets -apparently an old favourite. It looked and smelt good.
I found this restaurant such a refreshing change for city dining - I have booked it to take clients tonight!
