Delicious food reasonably priced. Shame for the level of service. Our waitress was rude and unprofessional: she brought wrong drinks to the table and, moreover, when we politely told her that our main course was not what we ordered, she got ennoyed and didn't even doubt being wrong again.

Delicious starters such as persian cheese and fresh herbs, smoked aubergine puree dip and cool yogurt and garlic, all to be eaten with light freshly baked bread. The main courses (if you have any room for them) are less impressive but good nonetheless - basically different sorts of well presented kebabs. To eat well will cost you about £20 not including drinks, but as it is a BYO anyway, you can bring whatever you want and they do not even charge corkage. The queue outside the door was testament to how popular this place is, so get there early.

A very delicious and high quality food, and best value for money. This restaurant represents dilicious Iranian food with very good quality and taste. Try different sorts of Kibabs with fresh and hot bread. I'm sure you won't get disappointed. Just the room is not that big and you have to go there just if you want to eat a delicious food and leave soon specifically at busy times because usually plenty of people are waiting for the free seats.

I visited this place with a few friends last week. My first time. It seems to be popular as it took a a little while for seats to become available. The place was packed out during the evening we visited. The smell of fresh Naans being made whilst were waiting for a table certainly whetted our appetities. The tandoor is right by the entrance. When the food arrived all I can say is the wait was worth while. We all tucked in and enjoyed all the dishes that were ordered. I had the lamb cubes and they were very tender and cooked to prefection. Waitresses were very attentive. Prices are reasonable and I am taking another group of friends there for lunch next Friday. I can see this being a place to visit whenever I am in town.

The first time I went to Alounak, I was shocked at the shear size of this restaurant, but as soon as you enter you feel comfortable. The food is excellent, very tender especially the kebab. The humus is very good but the salad olvieh is much better.

The service is very good, consistent and very quick. Although, the menu is a bit pricey but the food is definitely worth the value. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone if you are with a few friends and each have about £20 and you feel like having some Persian cuisine then you MUST go to this restaurant.

This is without a doubt my favourite restaurant in all of London. The food is absolutely outstanding. The service can often leave a lot to be desired but the food is so good you can get over it!!

Every time I fly over from Ireland I eat here. Amazing!

The food is excellent. It is tasty, and the waitresses are good looking, making the food even nicer! The cola is quite expensive, but good value as the Cola tastes great, however, the baby chicken is not as good as the other food, such as the kebab. On the whole the food was good, service excellent, place is a bit small, but the value for money is good.

This place is great :]

If you want great food, and a great atmosphere go here!

I've gone there now 3 times and the food has been perfect each time...

It's quite small but I think that adds to the atmosphere...

Your food arrives quickly, and the stone baked bread is so good you can eat it on its own :]

The lamb kebabs are wicked < Order that for sure :o

So is the chicken soup..

and the hummus..

and if you go order a jug of Doogh, if you dont know what that is either google it or just go try it is awesome.

Yes this is a resturant to get horny over, its that good :o

GO THERE!

peace.

Eversince I have used Alounak I have lost the interest of using other restaurants. The food is superb, it is tasty, good price, healthy and adequate. My wife and I love it. My wife can not wait till it gets Saturday night so that we could go to Alounak and enjoy our dinner once more. Well done!
