Corney & Barrow at Monument

The service was absolutely terrible. It took 15 minutes for someone to come to our table and take our order, another 10 minutes passed and the simple order of 1 bottle of wine and 2 glasses hadn't arrived. I managed to get the attention of the waitress and explained the current situation. No apology, no smile, a simple shrug of the shoulders and she walked away only to what I could assume was to rectify the problem. Another 5 minutes and nothing. I got the attention of a more senior looking staff member. Expressed in no uncertain terms my dissatisfaction at my experience so far. She didn't apologise either but did with some conviction say that she would sort the issue. At least she did that and the wine arrived soon after. There are not many other bars around there but this one is NOT recommended at all.
