I have never left a comment for a restaurant before, but I had to leave one for ekachai.
I have been there about 4 times now. Before that my boyfriend use to tell me how great the food was; I didn't really take him up on it, thinking he was too easily impressed so I ignored his comments.
When he finally took me there my immediate thought was GREAT look where it’s located in the back of no-where. BUT believe me all his praises was sooo very true, the food is so delicious and their desserts are original and yummy. Even though the restaurant is a bit hidden, as in if you didn’t know it’s there you probably wouldn’t find it, but once you’ve been there you’ll always go back. Plus it’s never empty, always great atmosphere.
I always have the seafood curry, which is to die for and for dessert the banana fritter with coconut ice cream. They may sound simple but trust me they are truly delicious. I recommend them to anyone who enjoys oriental dishes. I realize they also now have a website, you can check it out, but what I noticed was their desserts aren’t listed on it!! only liquid based desserts like coffee, tea etc.. don’t let that put you off because they do have really tasty original desserts.
Am going there tonight and I am beginning to love the fact that it’s a bit hidden, so I have a better chance of getting a table!

I eat here for lunch a few times a year. I have always had decent service. If you are part of a party, they will not let you in unless you are all present. (Apparently to prevent people walking through the restaurant to steal bags and wallets.)
I have always had great food here, even if the service isn't as friendly as other restaurants. They can serve a large number of people very quickly.
