Conclusion: Very, VERY good food perhaps not the a little lacking as a "dining experience"
Time: Monday 12-13.00
Service: Nothing to complain about, I got to chose where I wanted to sit, only 3 other customers in the restaurant. Although the taking of the order did take quite a while considering.
Food:
Starter (tandori chicken) was exceptional. Very well presented and lush. The salad with it was average but I'm not a salad person
Main - Madras curry was very very good. I usually go for tikka meat with any curry but the plain chicken let the sauce's subtle taste's shine. For a Madras it was not very spicy but it really was good.
Atmosphere/restaurant
Personally, I couldn't care less but for those of you looking for somewhere special whilst the food is excellent here, the restaurant doesn't have a very asian ethnic feel. Furniture is nice and new and clean though so it is a nice place to eat in.
Value for Money:
I actually think this place is cheap. £3-4 for starters, £2.50 for rice, £6-9 for main meals. Considering this is central london it's a bargain. The restaurant should, however, do weekday lunch specials which it doesn't to make it more of a bargain and draw people in.
