I had a great evening here with friends last Friday. It makes a change not to be in a soulless chain where everything all looks the same. Instead the staff were great and it was a good atmosphere. Yes the music is a bit cheesy at times but the food is great, the prices are really competitive and its a great place to have fun - what more do you need after work?!

Had a lovely dinner with friends last Tuesday at Fuego. There was a nice feel about the place and nice spanish background music playing. The food was superb and some of the best tapas I've eaten outside of Spain. Couldn't fault the service, will return.

Went there late on a Wednesday night (towards midnight) - big mistake! The place was dire in every sense of the word. After having gone downstairs into the bar/club area, it turned out that the place was almost deserted, which was our first sign that perhaps this wasn't going to be a great venue.

Then followed a succession of awful music (to match the decor), occasionally accompanied by the rather bored bar staff attempting to liven things up by dancing with each other. To make matters worse, the other clientele there were a tad on the creepy side, which didn't help either.

Can't comment on the restaurant bit of Fuego's (although there seem to be a fair number of positive reviews about the food). My advice though - avoid ending up there at the end of a night out!

Had lunch in the restaurant yesterday with some colleagues and had an extremely good lunch. The food was marvellous and the service first class. I was very pleasantly surprised as I'd never considered going here and will now add it to my list especially as the bill was so sensible too! I've already recommended to several colleagues as we're being told to cut back on expenses and yet this place ticks all the boxes and keeps even the accounts dept happy!

I hada booked a meal for two here on Friday night. On arrival found the bar dominated by a private party, it smelt of stale beer and the restaurant was closed. We left without eating.

Just returned from a great lunch at Fuego. All too often people only write these reviews when things go wrong so I thought I'd make a point of writing a good review as I've just eaten one of the best meals in a long time.

From the minute you walk in the staff are there to greet you and nothing feels like too much bother they're so willing to please. The food is very authentic and never fails to impress. Eaten with a glass of something from their great wine list is a wonderful way to meet colleagues or just escape your desk for a break with friends. I was also pleasantly surprised by the bill and that doesn't happen often. I'll be back again very soon.

My friends & I have gone here before & didn't think much of the place. To say that it's Spanish is having a laugh! NO Spanish staff & no other mentionables. Drinks were pricey, but the place didn't warrant it. Count us out.

I've been to this restaurant about 10 times for a business lunch or just for dinner with friends, I've never been disappointed. Every time I went there I found the service fantastic, the staff smiling and helpful. I loved the food especially Albondigas, Higado and Gambas (they are my favourites).

They do a very nice selection of wine.

I think you should give it a try.

I recently went to Fuegos for lunch and had the best tapas I'd eaten in the City. I knew it as an evening venue but had never tried it at lunchtime - I was very pleasantly surprised with the food and the bill! If you're in the City an like tapas go and try it at lunchtime, you wont be disappointed.
