I can honestly say that whoever thinks that eating in here is bad..is absolutely wrong!!!!

the place offers great alfresco seats in the summer and avalaible party hires,but most important it gives what people want for the area,quick nice food.

the pizzas are great for price,and the wholemeal base might get you laid on an evening meal! wine list is very respectful and service is good and funny too!

Overal i can definitely say that is worth checkin this place out and give it a try.

I have been here for the first time last week and I ate a pizza with all the toppings for just £7.95! It was tasty and the service was quick and very friendly and the atomosphere was good (lots of laughter). I highly recommend it. I will definitely be returning at some point.

AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL....is all I can say - the arrogance of the owners/managers of this place is unbelievable.......Pizzas are not great (unless you just want to eat a bucket load of cheese on top of yours)....service is VERY sloppy and staff are rude...Definitely would not recommend going! So many other nice cheap eat pizzerias around so why bother with this one.

This is the final time we will be comming to this restaurant. on 7/9 times of eating at this restuarant, we recieved good service twice only!.

On this occasion we were told that a pasta did not have any meat , but when it arrived it had beef in it. after making our complaints at the end of the meal. the manager said to the individual who ordered the pizza "you know if you have a bit of beef it might make you look well"

This comment given the circumstances was completely rude and unforgivable as the customer does not eat meat for religious reasons. after only offering to remove the service charge with no further apology, as we were leaving the manager approached us at the door and said if we were that dissatisfied with the service then we should not come back... our honest shock of a manager refusing future custom without any offering of a discount on a further visit.

I implore anyone who reads this review to think twice before going in, as the staff are completely rude, and in this case, disrespectful!

I have been eating here for years and always get great, friendly service. The pizzas are good and so too are the pasta dishes. It's also good in the evenings if you just want to have a drink.

I was absolutely delighted with the service here: the staff are very friendly, the prices reasonable and the Pizzas are nothing short of awesome. My friend and I go on average once a week and I would always recommend people to this restaurant.

Ate here last night, as we needed something next to Blackfriars Station. My wife has the wholmeal pizza base with goats cheese and pesto topping and was blown away by it; different from a 'proper' pizza base but absolutely delicious. I had a traditional base cappriciosa and was very pleased with it; plent of tasty topping and a good crisp base.

Restaurant was very quiet - only 3 or 4 tables occupied - so not surprising perhaps that service was pretty faultless; perhaps the more negative reviews here relate to times when they are stretched to cope with numbers?

hey, 'the pizza base was one of the best *i've* ever tasted,' too!

actually, it wasn't. proprietors, a tip: if you're going to stuff the ballot box on your own restaurant, make it a little less obvious that you're doing so.

anyway, so the restaurant. space is decent, food is mediocre at best. the cheese was that rubbery stuff one sometimes gets at pizza places that cut costs on ingredients--more plastic than dairy. other toppings skimpy, similarly low grade.

not a vile meal, but a completely forgettable one.

I really can't agree with Marc's comments in fact i had to read it several times to confirm it was the same place. So in comparison to his experience I'd like to put the record my visit.

Firstly the service was great, the staff were friendly, approachable and efficient, no delays fuss or frustrating waving like a maniac trying to gain attention of an obviously disinterested/overworked server.

The food was well above average, of particular note is the idea of having a mix of two different pizza toppings on one Pizza's is an inspired idea if you're as indecisive as me. The quality of the food is high, the pizza base was one of the best I've tasted, the wine was very drinkable and certainly better than the usual pizza fair and the ambiance certainly beats the bland corporate deadness of a pizza express. So overall I'm sorry Marc but I suspect you were just having a bad day.

The best pizza base I've ever tasted, and pretty close too on the toppings, which is impressive for veggie. Nice people, good service, lovely food, good value.
