The Hop Cellars

Just returned from a lunch at The Hop Cellars. The staff are polite and know what they're doing. The food is excellent and is very good value for money. The only fault would be that thay have no draught lager but that is only a very very small fault.

We recently had our Company Christmas Dinner at the Hop Cellars and I have to say the experience was an absolute pleasure!! from the friendly service to the immaculate tablesettings and from the mouthwatering food to the obvious attention to detail, there was not a single thing I could fault. As the organiser of this event I had one or two additional guests who were not on the list (our oversight) the Hop Cellars Manager, Cameron Muirhead, personally saw to it that they were quickly and satisfactorily accommodated with the minimum of fuss and embarassment. An altogether fantastic experience from a professional team worthy of its excellent rating - highly recommended!!

Surprisingly few people in a bar/restaurant that offers well prepared food and service that is both friendly and knowledgeable. A selection of really good tapas (we couldn't find one we didn't like) and a formidable wine list. This is the third Balls Brothers bar I have been to - they are all different in character and menu, but they all seem to be pleased to have yor business.
