I think Hubbub is a great place, there are so many pubs in london it's hard to pick out the best but i have to say this has to be in my top 5!
About a month ago one Friday's night, my friends and I went down for a couple of drinks we then decided to have food and the seasonal changing menu was just lovely, i had free range roast chicken with potatoe's, veg and gravy and it was really delicious! I've been down a couple of times since and it's never lets me down. A lovely Saturday afternoon lunch mith my mum, where again the food was really great, better than some gastro pubs i've been too! The waitress was helpful and went out of her way to accommodate which was really nice but she wasn't over fussy. A few weeks later I introduced my boyfriend to it by taking him for Sunday breakfast and again it was yummy...nice chilled out music a lovely little breeze, a nice airy feel. I ordered the eggs benedict with ham and my other half had the Full Works - i think it was the first time both of us said nothing to one another for about 30 minutes while we scoffed and Mmmmm'ed... really great quality food and not expensive at all.
I highly reccommend this place, it has never disappointed me or anyone i've taken and i'm planning on going this weekend to sit in the beer garden to have a pint of cool beer!! fingers crossed the weather is good!

I had a great food and good service. They had really tasty and innovative veggie options - had a thai dish that tasted very authentic, so felt like it was good value for money too. It is an odd part of town, but agree with the other reviewer that this offers an oasis in a sea of chains. Loved the fish tank, sofas and intimate atmosphere. Try it out if you are in the area.

A group of us had brunch at Hubbub on Saturday, 24 Sep. I had the all-day breakfast - very tasty. Good sized portions and very flavoursome sausages and bacon - not the bland processed variety on offer at some places. The waitress was good humoured despite being a bit worse for wear and the prices were very reasonable for a slap-up brekkie. We sat outside, which was very nice in the warm September sun! I will definitely return.

Some great food in here. Simple and good value. Been here a few times and the atmosphere is relaxed and mainly friendly. The service was, on our second visit, a little slack involving the usual getting orders wrong / things not turning up in a hurry. Whilst ultimately friendly, the service also bordered on the aggressive and rude - seemingly light hearted - although probably enough to make some not come here again. However, look beyond that and into one of the few genuinely nice local (i.e. not a chain) places to eat on the Island. Good stuff.
