I didn't know what to expect as previous review is quite old; but the establishment is now under other management.
What a great new venue, fantastic decor and great service and food. Just a shame it was very quite so hopefully The Loft will market well and we will make it a regular lunch and meeting venue.

A basic restaurant catering mostly to business travelers. A decent meal but little or no atmosphere. Service was a bit on the slow side but the staff were friendly.
Had pumpkin ravioli - a bit bland but nice enough, and rump steak and peppercorn sauce with fat chips - quite nice but not significantly better than pub quality. The steak was cooked exactly right, and the chips were lovely and soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside. The peppercorn sauce was perfect. The desert (chocolate truffle torte) was great.
A nice enough place if you're travelling and just want some decent food without having to leave the hotel. But I wouldn't recommend you go out of your way for it.

Nice trendy name, NOT a nice trendy place!
This could not have been further from what I was expecting. The mezzanine style just didn't work and we had to request they turn the air conditioner off, due to the sub zero temperature. A souless restaurant.
On a bright note the food was ok. But it helps if you are not wearing your coat whilst eating!
