Meson Los Barriles (Lamb St)

A lovely place, clean., reasonably priced and excellent food. The staff were very pleasant and the food hot and scrumptious. Wine was reasonable £4 a glass and the tapas well worth the price. I would definitely visit this restaurant again as there was lots on the menu that I would love to try. But a must is the patatas in tomato sauce. They melted in the mouth. We went at 12 on a Sunday lunch time and it was quiet, but by the time we left an hour and a bit later, it was starting to fill up nicely. I'd like to visit in the evening as I think the atmosphere would be great

I really enjoy eating here when I am in London. The food is always good and the service is very friendly. I get a Spanish omlette, chorizo, the baby squid, some fish and a nice glass of wine at very afordable prices. I have going a couple times a year since 1999 before the market was renovated and have always enjoyed it.

Excellent tapas with a very warm welcome and attentive staff. Reasonably priced and the house Rioja was SUPERB at around £15-16 a bottle!

Food is poor specially paella . All food ordered is brought to the table in one go, irrespectably if is a starter or main course, so by the time you want to eat your main course the dish is cold. Dishes are presented not as advertised on menu, so if it says spicy ,instead you get a splash of plain tomato sauce. Where it says an anchovy you get a vinagry type of sardine. Suppose to be a Spanish restaurant but staff are mainly moody plus latin american music sound of a tape screeming loud over your table. This place is ok for drinking wine with a plate of olives,cheese and chat after a day's work to meet friends but definately not good value for sitting on bare wood benches or barrels and being ripped off from your savings. Definately not recommended.

Went last night after a few months... As usual, good service and great food. I highly recommend the Pimientos de Padron: big, spicy and salty. The spicy chicken was good and the Pulpo a la Gallega was superb.

I've been going to this restaurant for more than 10 years and it's always good to go there. Although it seems like the credit crunch has taken its toll, it was nearly empty!

We went for lunch today and the food and service were second to none. We ordered a selection of Tapas which we first rate and very reasonable. We order a lovely bottle of medium priced red wine, which was excellent.

Service was great, atmosphere was also very hospitable.

The restaurant renovations have been done to a high standard and in keeping with the Spanish theme.

No complaints at all and very reasonably priced.

We were happy to tip the service, and the food came in a timely and efficient way.

Would thoroughly recommend.
