Ravello

Went for lunch with a friend .This restaurant is not in a "trendy" part of town.

The food is very,very good and the service is welcoming,attentive and caring.

These are people who really care about what they make and how they make it.

Terrific ingredients,freshly made food and honest pricing-what more do you want?

We had the spaghetti alle vongole-pasta al dente and lots of clams in their shells-most restaurants you would be hard put to find the clams-here there was an abundance.A small fritto misto of 4 different kinds of fish ,also as a starter,was generous and freshly made with an abundance of fresh fish.The famous ossobuco was also delish.A large veal shin cooked until tender with perfectly cooked saffron rice-again a dish that in other places is tough or disappointing-here it was perfect.The wine list is well chosen with modest(by London standards) mark-ups.Wonderful desserts and brilliant espresso.

If you are in the area-go.

We live in the country but come frequently to London.

When we do, we dine at Ravello

The food is delicious and the service is excellent . While we are always treated as friends the service emains at a highly efficinet level.

Whenever we entertain friends when we visit London we always take them to Ravello, and we are never disappointed.

4 years ago, i first tried Ravello for its excellent value set menu.

The food was of such a high standard that i returned to try the al a carte

menu, and have been eating at Ravello every week since then.

I especially recommend the regularly changing specials menu, which

is explained in a professional but friendly way by the long serving staff.

No meal is complete without a glass or two of wine and you will find a good selection of Italian wines to suit all budgets, and the Limoncello is the real thing!

I eat here for both business and pleasure and find Ravello is excellent

for both.

My partner and I have been going to this restaurant for five years. This past summer Ravello has been here for 40 years which says it all. The food is wonderful the service friendly. Do try it.

This restaurant has a wonderful feel about it, it is the kind of place you would definitely adopt as a neighbourhood favourite. Not only for the good food and excellent wine list but mostly for the exceptional staff. I felt like a really valued customer and will return frequently!
