Food is def Japanese original, Excellent service, I particular like the lady boss - she just well nice...As working in the City I would def recommend.

Its been years since we have been here - but it still remains our favourite!!! We used to work in London and ate there regularly. Having travelled extensively, we still find that we miss its unique atmosphere, the wonderful people that work there, but most importantly, the absolutely brilliant food - without a doubt a fantastic place to eat!

Had a KARAOKE birthday party on Sat. Great fun. Food was good and really sweet staff!! Going back there next year!!

Love this place. The sushi is fantastic and reasonably priced (for the City), though it's nothing too fancy. I haven't tried the non-fish dishes, but the place screams authenticity and the staff are friendly. Highly reccommended.

This place never disappoints. From the kitsch 1980s Japanese decor to the authentic karaoke - many a good night can be had in Ribon. The food is great and they serve authentic Japanese drinks. London's newer karaoke establishments charge way more for a less authentic experience. The owner is the most adorable Japanese lady you'll meet this side of Fukuoka. She's also an artist - you'll find her paintings on the walls. One thing I like about this hidden gem is that it never seems to be too busy - especially at the weekends. However, I feel obliged to let everyone know about the wonderful, wonderful place. Go as soon as you can. You'll love it!

The food here is consistently excellent and very good value for money. The menu shows a range that few Japanese restaurants can match. From Okomoni-yaki and Tako-Yaki to Toro Sashimi and the Nabe (hotpot) dishes. Essentially, all the usual dishes and many more unusual ones if you're feeling adventurous or curious. The service is excellent and discrete. The atmosphere is relaxed, with paintings by the lady who runs the place hanging all around the walls. Definitely my favourite Japanese restaurant.

Nice food, really sweet staff and good fun with the karaoke. And very good value. Not posh or intimidating but just down to earth and very enjoyable.
