We found this while running through the rain- and for once were glad for the rain. With only one server she apologised that the service would be slow but infact was as attentive as we required. Food arrived within a short time and the server was around for additional orders etc.
The atmosphere was friendly and calm- perfect for a quiet meal. There were no large groups which probably helped.
We definitely intend to return.

I went to Sri Thong six years ago and had always wanted to try it again, so I went last night. I must have become some kind of connoisseur of Thai food since six years ago 'cause the only thing I have to say is that the food was terrible!
Fifty one quid for two and I ate loater at home. Vege starters battered and fried like a chip shop, soup definately lacking something genuinely Thai, sweet, sweet sauces that should come with a health warning for diabetics and parent with children. 'Thai Salads' were all meat i.e. no Som Tum. Overall, very disappointing indeed. I know many good, genuine Thai restaurants in London - Sri Thong is not even on the map!
The service was impeccable, the staff are lovely!
They allow smoking - ashtray and book of matches on the table - double unplus good!

The best thai food in London. Enough said.
Number 51, the roast duck breast in honey is fantastic. I could go in here and just eat the prawn crackers they're crunchy and moorish. Highly recomended.

I've been searching for an authentic Thai and here it is! Thai food is always less spicy than in Thailand. But here they used the authentic ingredients; egg aubergines, green peppercorns etc. These cost that little bit extra in the UK, but make all the difference. No universial padding of the dishes with cheap bamboo shoots.
The service was polite and unobtrusive. Great food, pretty modern décor. A treat. The "bad reviewer" must have gone to a different place.

Fantastic, the spiced chili squid to start is the stuff dreams are made of. I found the staff were professional and attentive and every dish we had was spot on. Can't understand the previous comments as I and many of my friends have re visited Sri Thong on many occasions have always had good service and great food.

Absolutely terrible. The starters were ok but the main courses were atrocious, the worst green curry I have ever tasted. The staff were rude and very slap dash. Our plates and cutlery were literally thrown onto the table before our main course arrived. Would I go there again? NOT IN A MILLION YEARS!!

Pretty poor. Staff was over-anxious and generally just confused. Food was overpriced and sub-par. Finally, one of our servers seemed intent on upselling the entire table.

I have been to this restaurant a few times now and every time the food has been excellent. The service is good, it's a nice clean restaurant with pleasant waiting staff. Love the thai green curry although I was a little disappointed with the squid starter - but that hasn't put me off at all. Love it and will continue to go back.

A fantastic hidden away restaurant. Contemporary design and delightful food. With inventive variations on recognised traditional dishes the taste is superb. The seafood dishes are tremendous, including succulent freshwater prawns in rich panang sauce and caramelised shallots. Great value for money. Recommended!
