We had our team's x'mas lunch here and they were very helpful and easy-going all the way. Everyone in my team enjoyed food & atomosphere and really glad that we chose this restaurant.

Very, very disappointed with the poor service we were shown today. The restaurant called to confirm our lunch reservation in the morning (a reservation that we had made 2 weeks before), and I requested a few minutes to call them back so I could double-check that the client could still make it. Before I had a chance to call them to say we could confirm, the restaurant called to tell me that they had gone ahead and canclled my table! I could not believe it! The staff are rude and I would not book there again.

I enjoyed the atmosphere of this restaurant for lunch with clients.

The wine choice was good but the lamb cutlets I had were not as good as I had expected.

However the lamb shanks that my colleagues had were apparently very tasty.

Basement restaurant is ideal for lunch - with good service and reasonably priced wines in an air-co'd environment. Ricotta cheese ravioli particularly tasty.

Apologies for the lack of detail and meandering acolades.

Simply put, the location is very nice - tucked away down a little lane and hidden by a huge wooden door. Upstairs, it is formal without being condesending. Downstairs is more relaxed but posh enough to take your mum on Mothers Day.

The food is excellent. The meat is tender as you expect it to be. The fish is flaky and flavoursome. The chicken falls off the bone. As for the wines, ask the matre'd to suggest one for you - they know what they're talking about.

Eat here to impress clients, your partner or friends. Above all, eat here to give your taste buds a treat.
