Thai Square on the Strand

I have been to this restaurant many times when I used to work across the road when it was called Thai Pot and it was always excellent. This is the first time I've been there since they've changed their name (New owners I guess). The food was fairly tasty, although I was in no danger of burning my mouth off. At £20 a head for starter, main and drinks, the value for money was pretty good. The service however, was not good. One starter didn't appear at all until they were reminded, a main turned up with the one starter that did come, they didn't seem to know what our order was and I had to repeat the order after the starter mix-up. Considering this was a quiet Wednesday night with the restaurant about a third or so full, I don't want to think what it would be like if there was a real crowd. I'll probably give them the benefit of the doubt and go again some time, but I was left less than impressed by this experience.
