Hi Sushi City

Quality of the sushi was excellent-- dragon roll , soft shell crab roll, and the toro ...yummmm...and the staff was treat - in services....nothing i can say, this is the best!!!!!

buffet was excellent, fresh sushi, sashimi, and wasabi prawn,....incomparably hi sushi buffet, this is the best buffet restaurant, ....... great services ! highly recommened..

Been here twice, service was bad especially the manager, she refuses my friend to sit with us just because my friend were having a la carte instead of buffet. ended up sitting separately. can hear one staff consistently complains. I understand what she says, I don't want to post here,it's not nice. Food was not bad but was made unwelcome.buffet is value for money.

Food was fantastic, and the hot food was incomparably better than what we'd had at Hi Sushi in Muswell Hill. Don't know why the service scores so low, it's not as good as a high class restaurant, but then I wasn't expecting it to be and I've certainly had worse service in many places.

The all you can eat buffet was absolutely brilliant and the best value for money you're likely to find anywhere around, all in all a big big recommendation from us!

We went to Tokyo City for a 30th Birthday on their 'complementary' night.

We had a table booked, yet we were made to sit at the bar on the stools instead and eat...

Free food..apparently. The catch? The portions allocated were so small It will only fill you up like a starter would... and you'll definately need to order more.

This still gets charged as a service charge, yet when we ordered more food, we were charged a second round of service!

Very dissapointing, as its a shame as the food quality was quite good, but you not made to feel special and the deal was not an honest one.

Wanted to complain direct to the restaurant, but of course no email....

I will not return, and emplore you likewise to do the same...

Food was excellent and not bad value

Service I'm afraid was not good at all. No fault of the waiting staff who were very pleasant indeed but it took nearly an hour for our food to arrive - on a Thursday lunchtime, when we needed to get back to the office. Afraid we asked to knock the service charge off the bill. Such a shame as the food was great.

Fantastic food, best Japanese I've had since I came back to London. But PLEASE do something about the service - either build a bigger kitchen or take on some more staff. Waited 20 minutes to have even our drinks delivered to the table and then had to chase other dishes up.

It's a busy, popular place but it doesn't keep up with demand, which is rightly high because the food is great. Salmon skin handrolls, soft shell crab handrolls, agedashi tofu - all excellent. Late back to work after though - never a good look.....
