It was a huge disappointment at today's visit for lunch treat. I'm Japanese and where I live we do not have any Japanese restaurant. There were only few Japanese locals - I know why now.
The rice was very mushy, soggy and hard bits are mixed - no texture of rice and taste of vinegar at all. A traditional NIGIRI was very little of choice and we were suggested to order it - so we did - but some were forgotten and took ages to get them because there are lack of staff in the kitchen. Only 3 staff at the busy lunch time and they were rather busier to serve take away customers. No value for money but I guess it can be a good place to experience if you are tourists.

As a great lover of sushi, i tend to visit branches of yo! fairly often.
I like yo, in fact its a perfect place to go for a lone lunch whilst shopping but out of all the branches i have visited,i feel that the waterloo one isnt there best.
No real complaints but the atmosphere was nil, not much on the conveyor and once i even saw what looked suspiciously like (though may not of been)that they were changing the lids on the conveyorbout dishes which shows how fresh the food was! if true then that was naughty, i could understand why they may of done this though as aside from me and my brother there was only 2 others in the whole place!
Staff were friendly and helpfull though.
Do like the fact that they offer sushi making classes for children though! nice touch.
