I have eaten here many times, for breakfast and lunch, but this is with friends. This is a great little "noisy" place to talk to colleagues and friends and have something to eat also. You can just go here for a coffee, and it's much better than the Costa accross the road.
I can really recommend the cooked breakfast - a version of an English breakfast for less than £5 including a coffee or tea in a nice environment. Hard to beat this place on value. For a coffee meeting mid morning or afternoon it's great, but I would not entertain clients here.

Visited with colleagues for lunch and I must say had a wonderful time. The manager was kind enough to find us a table outside even though they were really busy. Food was well cooked and presented and the service was fine if a little slow but I can put this down to them being so busy. Would definitely recommend if you are fortunate enough to get a table outside.

Went here for lunch with two close friends of mine to celebrate a birthday.
The restaurant was full so I assumed we must be on to a good thing, unfortunately not!
We were seated in the back of the restaurant downstairs, conveniently blocking the fire-exit which must a Health and Safety Issue? Additionally having the coat rack above the fire-extinguisher must also be a risk with any long coat obscuring it.
Our waitress did not understand one word of English - so we turned to another which had the same grasp of English language - none. It turned out that the only person who spoke the language of this nation was the manager - therefore meaning that he was in demand at every table.
Food arrived promptly but was disappointing.
One dish was sent back - it was the most miserable salad I've ever seen and must have cost all of 60p to throw together (and looking around we weren't the only people doing this). One of the pizza's was cold but as we were hungry we kept hold of it...
Never again..
PS The wine wasn't bad and the tap water was provided in a jug and marked on the bill as "THAMES WATER 0.00" - comedy moment!

Shocking. Manager told us were wrong to send a salad back which would have belonged more in a Wetherspoons .

The food was very average and the service was awful. They took 20 minutes to bring us olives, it took them so long to find steak knives that by the time they did our food was cold and they could barely understand English. I would not recommend it.

I had the worst italian meal I've ever had in this restaurant, having gone with 2 Italians who recommended it, I have to say the whole meal was very disappointing, the lasagne was incredibly bland, I would not recommend this restaurant, it wasn't that cheap being about £30 inc wine for a rather sub-standard meal.

Having read the comments below I am wondering what type of business lunches people go to hese days... I have been to this place twice on leaving lunches for secretaries of our firm.
This place is fine for friendly catch ups with mates and colleagues but never in a million years would I take a (potential) client to this place.
This is a pizza / pasta restaurant for a quick easy bite. Order a simple pasta or pizza and you'll be allright - do not try their more adventurous cooking - it doesn't pay off.
Seriously - I would feel embarrassed taking a client here. It's just not for entertaining.

Pizza was inedible - much worse than one would do with a frozen one from the shop. Chicken was dry. Bruchetta was soggy. Salad cheese was stale.
On the bright side, desserts were mediocre.
Never again!

I completely disagree with the comment left about the lasagne being inedible and the risotto watery! I go to Zuccato on a fortnightly basis for business lunches and I find the food very appetising. The staff are friendly and the manager is always ready to help and recommend a dish if they have something different on their menu. Overall, Zuccato is a great place for all occasions.

I have taken clients here at lunchtime before and even though it can get extremely busy the food did not suffer. I had Penne Piccanté and it was lovelly smothered in Parmesan cheese. Not great to admit when your entertaining clients but what the hell?!!
