Rodon must be the only Greek restaurant in London to charge £1 for a pitta bread! The most ridiculous thing I have ever encountered!

A group of about 10 of us went for our Christmas party at work. All i can say is that i didn't know that Mash potato and ham was a greek dish, the same with turkey and vegetable filo pastry. The prawn salad looked as though it was straight out of a packet (think Lidl, not Waitrose) and the chicken and lamb were bland. We were looking forward to fresh halloumi, mousakka, calamari and were very disappointed. Even the wine was mediocre. The best bit was the free chocolates as we were leaving. I would not recommend this place and certainly wouldn't classify it as greek.

Absolutely terrible. Worst restaurant ever been too. Food was poor and staff were extremely rude.

Ignore any good reviews - these come from the old restaurant Cafe Corfu. This one now (Rodon Live) is unbelievably bad

I went to this restaurant to celebrate my birthday with 10 people for dinner. The evening started well and i thought we were going to have a good night ahead. The service from when we sat down was slow and i thought this was due to the busy restaurant, however, i have definately changed that idea from the later events that occured. It is a very busy place with dancing and loud music and the lack of security and attentive staff meant that 2 people were able to enter the restaurant and steal belongings, First of all my sisters handbag and then at a second attempt the same girl tried to steal more belongings before she was spotted. In regards to this incident, it seems it has happened previously as i have spoken to other people who had the same thing happen to them. The restaurant staff were totally disorganised and didnt seem bothered by this and later when a group from another table started a fight with my party for no reason, purely drunk and disorderly, shouting threats and abuse, the staff again were very unhelpful to resolve this. They told me and my friends to wait in another room so they could sort the problem with these people but instead ended up putting the music on so they could continue there party inspite of the incident and the fact that the rest of the customers left due to it being closing time. I was totally let down, my birthday ruined and i definately didnt expect stealing or abuse to occur. I will never go back and i hope the restaurant gets closed down!

I am stunned by these reviews. I went last night because Daphnes (around the corner, absolutely superb) was closed. All I can say is OH DEAR. The service was bad, the decor tacky, the food distinctly average (and hardly authentic, the main courses came with potato wedges?!?!) and severely overpriced. Add to that ear splitting music and a rather annoying manger that told us right at the end that his credit card mchine was broken and would we mind 'running to the bank?'. With all the fantastic greek and turkish restaurants in the area, there is no need to ever go in this place.

Marvellous! The best Greek food in London. Great food, atmosphere and service, although a bit overprized.

We had a wonderful time yesterday on Mother's Day with my boy friend and his parents. The restaurant is brilliant and the food is great, delicious and fresh home made style, the staff were so friendly, we were welcomed and greeted as if we knew the owner. The meze was so good, we almost didn't have room for the main course, and we had unlimited drinks for the 22.50 pound per head deal.

The live band playing Greek music was so uplifting for a good time family celebrating, and there was some plate-smashing on the floor, which added up to the typical Greek atmosphere...just amazing. We would definitely go back, possibly with more people up for a loud and refreshing drink, meal and dance.

Those who prefer quiet places and good food, maybe you should visit the restaurant earlier, before the party kicks off, but the Greeks really know how to have fun and that is mostly recommended for party people.

Great mediterranian food. Good prices. The only bad thing is the music. Incredibly loud radical greek/flamenco/gipsy music. You can't hardly hear someone 1 meter from you. If you don't care about that, the food is really good.

The perfect party restaurant. I had my party there, the staff couldn't be friendlier. The food was lovely just the right amount. The entertainment, the bellydancer and the disco was the perfect place to be. Thank you.

I have hellenic origins, and to be honest with you, no greek restaurant in the uk can compete with homecooked food from Greece. However, Cafe Corfu really reunited myself with the recollections I have of traditional, delicious, healthy, greek cuisine. It combines fantastic famous greek dishes, which a modern european twist, which makes greek food more tangible to the British public and furthermore, far more interesting to savour.

Not only is the food exquisite, but the prices are very reasonable indeed. Moreover, the ambiance is very relaxing and allows you to enjoy your meal whilst forgetting the problems of everyday life.

The staff could not be any friendlier! Full of greek hospitality, they are very welcoming and always help the customer, when s/he is in aid of assistance. To be honest, I think this restaurant is the best greek restaurant in the UK, and trust me, I have been to many. I think it is safe to say it can also compete with greek restaurants in Greece!
