now called goldfish, its a shame that the nice wood panelling has been replaced with tacky blown up photos of goldfish. food has tried to go all modern and put me off but thank god they still have the fantastic weekend dimsum buffet.

We go to China Dream regularly for the week end brunch (all you can eat dim sum) and are never disappointed. We are used to going to Chinatown or Royal China but China Dream have the most original and versatile dim sum in London. The staff always come to ask whether we want more and my husband and I once ate 30 plates! They have added more to the brunch (duck pancakes, fried noodles etc) so it is really good value for money.

excellent food and dim sum, friendly waiters, good service. unfortunately the manager were arrogant and pretentious, spoilt the dining for us.since he was a "part time manager" only on thursday.anywhere we are decided not to go on thursday.

I have been to this restaurant once, and have vowed never to return.
We went on a Sunday lunch for some Dim Sum. Perhaps it was overly busy and there wasn't enough staff on the day, but we had a very long wait before we were served. The food took over 30 minutes to arrive, the dishes arrived separately with random time intervals. Our drinks arrived late, and the food only arrived after speaking to the waitress a few times.
The food itself was also disappointing. To be fair the pad thai was alright - but the dim sum itself were small portions and not particularly impressive.
The decor was interesting and somewhat authentic, but it was very dark, and the atmosphere was offputting as everyone else in the restaurant were impatient and waiting to be served.
I only live 2 minutes from China Dream - but have never been back after the initial experience. Recommend making a small trip to your nearest Royal China, or Phoenix Palace in Baker Street, especially for some real authentic Chinese dim sum.

we ate here on recommendation and were not disappointed. The food was gorgeous, and the service was excellent. The girls that served us couldn't have been more delightful and helpul. The price was great too. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening there. It was a lovely intimate atmostphere.

We went to this restaurant last night and the Chili Crab dish in this place is excellent. And the price is good too! Real value for money.
