The food is always special. If you like your food spicy though you may have to request that it is made extra spicy!

We go in for the earlybird menu which is cheap and filling.

I gave a very good review of this restaurant in October 2007.

I have since visited it three or four times and unfortunately I can no longer give the same high rating.

I think some of the key staff members (chef perhaps) or even owners have changed, but something is missing.

To be fair it is still pretty good for the price and the area and you now get what you'd expect. It used to be outstanding and I was almost always surprised.

not what it used to be - used to go regularly but last time (october) food was not up to scratch, portions had shrunk and he young waiter barely acknolwedged us he didnt even ask whose food was whose - just plonked it on the table. It is not cheap and certainly not worth the money they charge. We have made a conscious decision not to bother returning. It's a shame - it used to be very good.

Fantastic and authentic Hakka food - Butter Fried Garlic Squid aside (squid too tough and the batter was unnecessary), all Chinese and Indo-Chinese dishes tried were excellent and spicy. I haven't sampled the Indian menu so cannot comment on this. Service attentive and waiters knowledgeable. A shame it's so far away from local bus routes!

This restaurant is a gem! As a local I have been going there for a few years now and can't recomend it highly enough. It's one of those places where, if you're not sure if you fancy an Indian or a Chinese meal, it takes the dilemna out of the equation for you as it combines the best of both in an original way.

My particular favourites are the SQUID with pepper and salt in a very light batter and chillies and garlic followed by KUNG PAO Chicken which is delicious and legendary in these parts.

The staff are extremely attentive - particularly a young waiter called Neil who is most charming!

So, if you're not sure what sort of food you want, you want great service and a casual evening, take yourself to Dalchini - if you can get a booking! The locals love it but being opposite the tube station, it really is very convenient to all.

I go to Dalchini at least once a fortnight and would go much more if I didn't live so far away. The Chow Chu Cauliflower is excellent. I have bad memories of cauliflower from my school days, but this cauliflower really increases the reputation of the vegetable.

The Ginger Chicken and Kung Pao Chicken are excellent and I have just learnt that they do a lunch box for only £3.50! My friends order lunch from there every day almost.

I only wish they would open one in north London.

Great Food. I went there for my birthday. The Chow chu Cauliflower was excellent and the ginger chicken was very tasty. I finished everything. For desert I had Honey noodles and ice cream which they put a candle on top of it. I will definately be going back there.

Great Indian style Chinese food- well worth the journey for those of us who don't live around Wimbledon Park. I highly recommend the chilly potatoes, golden fried prawns and American chopsuey. Indian customers may want to request the waiter that the dishes they order should be "really hot", as that seems to get them up to levels acceptable to our palate! Now, if only they'd open a branch somewhere more central...

I and my friends happen to visit this resturant. Although i did not expect much and was just waiting to kill my hunger. we ordered Jade Chicken Soup. Chicken Manchurian, Ginger Chicken, Hakka CHilli Chicken, Fish dish- fish in spicy coconut curry, chicken Noodles. I could not resist myself to disclose the fact the not only the food was mouth watering and fantabulos but also i liked the ambience and service. A guy named Mihir was very friendly with us and suggested us the best dishes. I would definetly visit this place atleast 1ce every week and ould also ask all of my friends to visit 1ce.
