My favourite pub in West London!

Amazing food, ever changing menu so I eat here more than once a week and know there will be something new on the menu. Brilliant freshly baked bread,

Great selection of wines by the glass and loving the new carafes!

Toilets could do with a lick of pain but on the whole the new management has this place buzzing again with a great atmosphere, highly recommended!

I used to dine with friends every week pre-fire, I was there last sunday, noise levels with kindergarden kids screaming, service poor, waiters needed a good wash, tables sticky, food overpriced, did not like handing over my credit card to be overcharged by £14, and they want a tip for poor service, starter £8 there were three prawns ? Price of wine list, what mark ups are they working on?? Really this place used to be great, they are taking the mickey.

This is a good foodie pub. Service a little up and down - some staff are better than others. Manager seems really good so maybe that will get better.

Enjoyed a really good lunch there last week.

They are planning to build a new house on the pub garden so that will be a shame as the garden is a nice place to sit in.

What has happened? Used to be a traditional drinkers pub.

It was even featured in an early episode of Minder, which was our reason for visiting.

It's now gone all gastro and failed miserably.

I was appalled at how much this place has gone down hill. I've been going to the Havelock for several years, and always adored the food and laid back ambiance. Things have changed, however, and tonight the food was extremely disappointing. To start with the menu was uninspiring, there was nothing that seemed particularly appealing or interesting like how it used to be. When it came, the food itself was bland, made from cheap ingredients and badly put together. There was a salad made up of watermelon, olives, feta, broad beans, peas and tomatoes. The flavours didn't work together at all and the quality of the ingredients was also poor. We had to wait about an hour between our starter and main course, and then 45 minutes between main course and desert and the staff were unhelpful and indifferent. There were many staff working but as far as I could see only one girl was doing all the work which seemed pretty unfair particularly as she walked with a limp!

I would hesitate to go again.

Along with friends I have eaten at the Havelock for years and will now no longer return there as the new management have left in place evidence of past glory by way of reviews but fail totally in every area by comparison.

On my last visit the food was as poor as the cheap ingredients, the staff indifferent and the atmosphere has vanished
