I feel seriously sorry for Kew residents if this is the best they can expect for Thai round here. I had the misfortune to stumble across this place a couple of weeks ago with 2 hours to kill. Village tea room atmosphere aside, the food is the main weakness here.

The lacklustre defrosted fish cakes, satay and spring rolls were perhaps not their fault but a for staple such as green curry to comprise European peas and aubergines instead of the proper Thai ingredients (makhuea pro & phuang) is frankly inexcusable in London where they are readily available. The other main courses (red & massaman curries) also bore little resemblance to actual Thai food.

The sorry excuse for food was augmented by painfully slow and indifferent service. Definitely a place to avoid.
