I just realised that despite coming here at least once a month for the past 3 years, I have never posted a review.

The food is always top notch and so in-expensive. I have never, ever been let down when I have come here. Highly recommended.

MMMMMMMM! Delicious! And dead cheap! OK, so it's not the kind of place for a romantic meal or a lengthy family dinner. It's the sort of place that if you lived local and couldn't be bothered to cook one evening, you could nip down here and grab yourself a bowl full of sheer delight! You might have to queue for it though... I have to say the only dish I didn't really like was the pad thai (it was stodgy and too heavily flavoured), BUT the curries are just FABULOUS and the coconut rice is a joy. Such a bargain! The staff are all really nice and helpful too. Really good value all round - one of THE best resturants you could go to with a small group of mates to to put you in a really good mood for an evening out. GO!

The food was great and the menu was extensive. I found dishes on there that I haven't had since living in Thailand as a kid. The price was really so cheap too for what you get. Its just a shame that they Europeanised the rice servings. Real Thais eat rice people! Other than that I loved the place and plan on going back there tonight.

We lived in Clapham for nearly five years and ate at the Pepper Tree regularly, and were never disappointed. It is almost always full in the evenings (weekday & weekends), with people queuing out the door. It's cheap and cheerful: simple, fast and good! The bustle of the shared tables is part of the fun! It's very unpretentious. And the yellow bean cake is one of the few really good oriental desserts around!
