First things first ... the nearest tub is not Ravenscourt park. Hammersmith is not only the closer but also has great bus links to Barnes for easy access.
I am quite anti these Italian chain restaurants all over London. The reason being is I don't consider them to be "real" Italian!
San Remo is! Absolutely excellent food and very friendly service. Their main menu is full of delicious authentic Italian dishes of fish, chicken and beef. Their past menu comes out as a secondary list ... and they don't even do pizza!! I think that is the mark of a true Italian restaurant!!

I worked for them two years ago.
The food is excellent and they prepare everything with a lot of care. They are very friendly and perky with their guests.
Pasta is wonderful but also fish it's ok!
The place is very nice and clean!
It's the right place to go if you are an Italian tourist because food is ok, but also if you are not Italian and you want to taste our gorgeous couisine!
Prices are reasonable.
