Went for lunch after seeing it featured in the Times £5 lunch offer only to find it closed for lunch ? what's going on ?
Had a wicked party there last week, staff and service were friendly and attentive, food unfortunately still seems to be on the bland and unadventurous side.

My partner and I went to the William IV last week for the launch of there new Menu.
The menu is so much more exciting wih quite a few flavours. We ordered the Seabass and the duck breast as Mains and the Profiteroles and Almond cake as dessert.
Both dishes were really good and we thank the chef for a beautiful meal.
Will definately be going back with friends and family.

After reading some of the great reviews about the tapas was very dissapointed when I went to find that all they had on offer was substandard insipid carbohydrate induced junk !! staff and service were decent enough....

This once glorious Pub which used to be until quite recently the pride of Kensal Rise ..unfortunately it is no longer, after last nights visit and having to fight my way through the tumble weed blowing through the bar I have come to the sad conclusion that at the William IV there is a definite lack of leadership, the food is awful and expensive, the service is slow and uncaring, the toilets are just plain appalling and the whole place stinks of the Marie Celeste ....a ghost ship heading for the rocks.........give it a miss
