I think Zuccato is great. the Pasta and Pizza are really good. The Waffles are fantastic. I have been 6 or 7 times and everytime I have had great service. Admittedly I usually order Italian food at an Italian restaurant, but I still don't understand the other peoples negative comments. I definitely can't comment on the ladies toilets, but the Gents are OK.

My sister and I ate here recently as a pre-cinema meal on a Wednesday evening. Although the service was generally friendly and helpful the food was appalling and the bathrooms were the worst I'd been in for a long time.

Although I received the wrong starter at first, the staff were apologetic and quickly got me the correct dish which tasted good. However, the mains were absolutely appalling. My pasta was incredibly salty, overloaded with parmesan. My sister's mashed potato was pureed and felt more like eating butter than potato. Her cod was also poorly cooked and neither of us finished the meal.

The bathroom compounded our sorry affair. The toilet bowl was brown with filth, the floor was grubby and there were numerous toilet rolls in various states of completion lying strewn across the cubicle.

Average Italian outfit on Finchley Road.

This, slightly claustrophobic, black and steel echo chamber sits on the upper level of the O2 Centre in Finchley Road.

Overall, the place isn't so bad. I can't speak for the decor, which is a euphemism for 'I don't have many nice things to say about it'. But at least it's clean.

The food is average. Think Pizza Express or Prezzo and you're there. But it's tasty and it comes to your table on time. There have never been any long waits here.

Service is all over the shop. They're friendly and courteous, but hopelessly confused! Ironically I've always had trouble getting out of this place. It's very easy to get in. Very easy to get served. But a bit of an odyssey to pay and leave. How sweet!

To be fair, it's competitively priced. The bill will not shock you and has always been in line with the overall experience. Very handy as a pre-cinema stop.
