A very unpleasant experience when out for lunch with my parents. The service was fine and the starters adequate but the main courses were foul. Both the meat and veggie mousakas were disgusting and not remotely anything like the real thing and the greens served with them so salty I nearly spat them out in surprise. The filet steak was over cooked and very stringy with huge strips of inedible fat and did not resemble any filet steak i've ever seen before. We spoke to the waitress about our food but were ignored but as we got up to leave the young men in charge suddenly appeared and wanted to know if there was a problem, when we explained he became surly saying we should have said before, we explained that we had and he continued to berrate us for not complaining as if it was our fault theat the food was horrible. His manner leaves a lot to be desired when dealing with customers and his aggressive attitude towards complaints is appalling. I shall certainly not recommed this restaurant to anyone.

I went to Andreas on Saturday for a birthday treat with 6 friends. This was a big mistake. The service was shoddy and the staff rude. 50 minutes after arriving we were still waiting for our starters. We hadn't even been offered an olive or a bit of bread!! When we complained we were spoken to very rudely and sarcastically by the man who appeared to be in charge.
I have been here several times in the past but will certainly not be going back..
And as for the food - the best I can say is that it was average.

It is one of the worst restaurant I have been to. We came in a group of ten, ordered ten starters and ten main dishes to share among us. None of the dishes was up to 'edible' standard, and costed us £20 per person excluding drinks. This is the first Greek restaurant we have been to and it left us extremely bad impressions. Don't ever go near!

Can't stop going back to Andrea's!! Top choice for Greek cuisine. Only order the full menu if you are hungry!! It never stops coming. Definitely a must.

My partner and I visited this place in the middle of summer and the whole place was opened up like a Greek taverna (as much as is possible in London)!
We went for the works, three courses, bottle of wine and a liqueur to finish.
The service was top-notch all the way through, despite the venue being quite busy.
We have a lot of experience of Greek food and felt this place was serving the real thing. So it's authentic. We appreciate some of the reviews here are not so complimentary but we beg to differ.
The owner of the restaurant engaged his customers and made us feel very much at home.
We stayed all evening from about 8pm until closing time. The owner was in no rush to move us on. It was all very relaxing.
So top marks. We will be returning. Recommended.

I must say this is one of the worst restuarants, (if not the worst) I've been to in London. I ordered the chicken kebab, and it was a total p*ss-take. I get eight very small pieces of char-grilled chicken with minimal amount of salad and no pita bread. And to add insult to injury, this dish was £13.50p! For that price I could have had a real kebab from some West-End kebab shop for half or even a third of that price. The food was not good. I really mean not good - in taste or value for money. Rocket salad was £4, and it seemed like they had bought the salad from a local supermarket and poured it straight into a bowl. Drinks were a rip-off too, £2 for a glass of coke, and remember we didn't even touch the wine. My partner had the chicken poussin, which was much better in terms of the portion, but then again, this was £16.50. I think with the amount we spent (£38!!!) we could have went to a much nicer resturant possibly with music! And a candle-lit dinner for creating the romantic atmosphere, rather than the manager diming down the lights in an attempt to create what he called a "romantique atmosphere!" I was so angry and truly disappointed with the food, at the end I refused to pay for the service charge, this was how bad it was! After leaving I felt I have just wasted my evening as well as my money - I was neither satisfied with the food nor the value for money, nor the atmosphere. So should you want to embark on such a "wonderful experience" that's the place to go, otherwise, be warned and stay well clear and spend your money elsewhere.

I've been to many Greek Restaurants but this one has been the best until now, only criticism is the decor is a bit too traditional for my taste but white linen table cloths and napkins are still popular I suppose.

Have eaten at the restaurant twice in the past month, both times eating the Keftethes (meatballs) which were so delicious the first time that I just had to have them again second time round! For any fans of meatballs... these ones take some beating! When it's busy the service can get slow, and the restaurant is more on the expensive side (just the main course + drinks about 22 pounds each), but the staff are very friendly and if you're willing to spend a little more for a quality feast to remember, then this is the place to come!
