Aphrodite Taverna

Aphrodite Taverna is absolutely one of the best Greek restaurants we have visited during our trip to New York, Paris, London and Barcelona. Everything(food, atmosphere, services) was so amazing that we had to return back to the restaurant the second time before we leave for Paris. It was one of the best experiences that we had during our trip to London!!!

Excellent food, wonderful atmosphere.

We had a wonderful evening meal in Aphrodite Taverna over Easter weekend. There were 8 of us all together and all of us were exceptionally pleased with the food. All the food was fresh, and very tasty. The Calamari was simply the best, freshest we have had since a trip to Spain a few years ago. it was stunning. the service was very friendly and professional at the same time. The atmosphere was great, a real buzz about it.

We cant wait to go back as soon as we are in London again. Truly a wonderful restaurant.

We celebrated our christmas party at aphrodite and were amazed by the service and food.

It is the most welcoming place with the friendliest owners we have ever met.

The food was to die for... :)) ( we are still alive :))... hahaha

It was a great experience and we can t wait for the next occasion to enjoy a nice meal there. Thank you

This has to be one of the best restaurants in the area. The food is fantastic and the service excellent - almost feels like a second home

We chose this place after reading the (mostly) good reviews here. We were quite pleased. The food was excellent and we felt the value was very good. I ordered the Mixed Grill and rice and my husband ordered the Falafel starter and the Vegetarian Moussaka. Portions were smaller than what one would expect in a restaurant in the US perhaps, but were still filling. The olives and pita bread on the table while we were perusing the menu was a nice touch. The place was packed on a Thursday night and it seemed most people had been there before which we felt was a good sign! Nice Greek atmosphere, too.

The next time we are in London we will be back to Aphrodite Taverna.
