There were four of us on a girl's saturday night out. We chose Boulevard Brasserie for the great £15 for 3 course dinner offer and it was worth it! We arrived and the place had real warmth to it. The service was quick and friendly. Although we did arrived at 10.30pm and by then the club downstairs was thumping with music which was a little disturbing. The food was well made and presented. We had a really great time and felt we could stay all night. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Just got back from (another) great meal at the Boulevard Brasserie and it was really buzzing for a Tuesday night. This is my third time of visiting this restaurant and I haven't been disappointed yet. It is well priced, the staff are always friendly (ok, they might not be top notch professional, but they always have a smile!), and the food so far has been consistently good. Will return.

My partner and I ate at Boulevard Brasserie last night and I would recommend it to others. We were offered bread with dips and drinks shortly after arriving and a massive plate of bread came out, enough for four people! For starters, I chose Brie wrapped in Filo. It was divine and came with just the right amount of Cranberry sauce. My partner chose the scallops which I stole one of and wish I could eat more! For mains, I had 3 cheese and mushroom risotto and it was perfect, not too dry or too mushy - the way risotto is supposed to be! My partner had the duck special and I just haven’t tasted anything like it – superb! We then shared the sticky toffee pudding which was exceptional and drizzled in butterscotch sauce.

The service wasn't 100%, but it was close. They stayed out of your way verbally but still made an effort to stay noticed if you needed them. The price came close to £70 (including service charge and a bottle of wine) and we were left quite happy. A great night and an even better dining experience.

I can't praise this restaurant highly enough. The food was superbly cooked - and I'm very fussy. The staff were friendly, intelligent, courteous, unobtrusive and couldn't do enough to help. It was extremely good value and had a lovely ambiance - still in Covent Garden but just round the corner from the noisier part. While we were there, a singer/guitarist was playing and singing gentle James Taylor songs. I will make a point of going back and would like to thank the staff for making my stay in London even better than I'd have thought possible.

Despite going on a very busy Friday night, the staff were friendly and apologetic about the delay in getting served at the bar (more than one guy serving might have helped)! Even though it was packed we didn't feel rushed and had time to read the menus befoere choosing the happy hour meal deal of 3 courses for about £12.

The food was fantastic, good portions and even though there was a mix up with our puddings (we were given the wrong menu to choose from) there was no problem and we were given a extra dessert to make up for not getting our first choices!

Very highly recommended.

The bread fresh, the tapenade homemade, starter delivered quickly, mussels cooked to perfection - quite a rarity in London. A digestive pause, that was exactly that, before the main course of roasted rump of lamb requested pink, again perfect cuisson, with a substantial portion of creamy dauphinoise and a peppercorn sauce. Coffee excellent.

The service efficient, polite and the waiter smiled throughout (when you dine alone waiting staff are sometimes funny- it was not the case here).

The manager charming and most definitely the master of this very well organised and surprisingly good restaurant right in the heart of theatreland.

My first visit was purely for convenience, I shall be dining here again but think that next time I will have an aperitif in the bar downstairs beforehand and maybe a digestif after.

We went to the Boulevard Brasserie as a 'family outing' for early supper this evening. They were really accommodating and despite being packed full of pre-theatre diners we were given a nice spot and didn't feel rushed or caught up in that pre-theatre throng. The waiters were very accomodating and whilst some members of the family went for the incredibly reasonable £9.95 two course pre-theatre menu - I'm afraid that I couldn't help but indulge in a delicious Entrecote steak - followed by the Dark and Light Chocolate Terrine! Very Very Good.

So - all in all - a great meal out and a bill that really didn't hit our pockets too deep. So thank you Boulevard.

Our party of 7 visited Boulevard Brasserie on Saturday night, and despite originally being only 6, they accommodated the 7th person with ease. Our drinks orders were taken swiftly and we were given plenty of time to peruse the menu.

We indulged in a selection of starters, including the Meat Platter (packed full of delicious mediterranean cold meats), the Queen Scallops (cooked to perfection, I am reliably informed) and soup from the specials menu (also reported as being very good). Maincourses of Pan fried Calf Liver were enjoyed by 4 of us and was also cooked to perfection and as requested. Unfortunately, when you ask for your liver "rare", it often arrives "medium" - this was most definately "rare" and full of flavour. The rest of the party chose the lamb rump and that too was enjoyed immensly.

Only two of us has room for dessert, and good reports came of the lemon tart.

We were well looked after throughout our meal and subsequently afterwards, when we were directed to the Bar downstairs to indulge in freshly prepared cocktails until the early hours.

Boulevard Brasserie has a good ambience and atmosphere and serves quality food at very reasonable prices. We will most certainly be returning.
