Our favorite lasagne in the world!!!

We ate here thrice while vacationin in London in January 2006. The waiters were charming. There were few people, which we loved: no annoying people trying to out-talk each other. Each dish we tried was delicious. We have since tried to find lasagne to match theirs and we've been unsuccessful!

had a two course meal at Casa Nostra in Londen last Tuesday. As I was greeted very friendly at the door,. I had mussels in white wine were one of the best I have ever eaten. And as a main course the chicken breast in a creamy mushroom sauce was of equal standards. A nice glass of Pinot Grigio, a fine meal in a fine restaurant with great and experienced service. I will definitely return next time I'll be in London, that is hopefully in two weeks time. To conclude, I think Casa Nostra in London is a real gem and, although not strictly a top restaurant , price/quality they certainly deserve to be in London Eating's Top 10. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!!!!

Have you been to Casa Nostra recently?Well,it opened few weeks ago under new management.I was there for the opening day and i must say that it was a very special atmosphere:celebrities like Emran Khan,George Galloway,Eastender actresses,papparazzi,high class serving,delicious food...After dinner we to the club downstairs, where they played live latin music...People were dancing,drinking, getting hot,hot ,hot! I cant wait to go there for salsa classes each week(introduction free!) and bring some of my friends with me.Everybody is so nice and relaxed,I really think you should try it!

I've been to this restaurant about 5 times in the past 2 years and i have to say the food was always great! but like any other restaurants (even the very fancy ones) you always have the unlucky customer that gets a cold steak or dirty glass etc,... Overall, i would go back again as the chef is Italian and he always visits your table for feedback.

PS: When you to an Italian restaurant try not to order Camlamare!! Past is always a better choice :)

PS1: The atmosphere is a bit dead at night as they get most of their customers at lunch time - more businessy place

I only went to Casa Nostra for lunch and really cannot share the enthusiasm of some other commentators. The vegetarian pizza was among the worst I ever had in a restaurant. It looked and tasted like one from the cheap end of the supermarket freezer, the vegetables seemed to be out of a tin and very few! Lucky for me I was there in lovely company, but to anyone who is looking for authentic Italian food, I recommend to go somewhere else!

20 of us went downstairs to the Den for a private party. We'd pre-ordered the food earlier in the week.

My calamari was placed in front of me, as I started eating it, the waiter removed the plate and informed me it wasn't mine and placed it in front of someone else. When it came to light that they'd not cooked enough calamari for those that had ordered it, they point blank refused to cook any more. Mix ups again with the main meals but got there in the end. Overall turned out to be a very good night and the food was good, and very good value for money. Wouldn't do a large group there again but would try the restaurant.

My favourite Italian restaurant in London, the people are very loving and friendly. The prices are nice,good food & wine and I always go there when I'm in London.
