Amazing experience! This is the place for those you enjoy eating good quality food in a stylish modern Greek atmosphere with live sinking and dancing.
I went with a friend, we ordered the Greek Meze Menu. They are really worth the price.
The food is extremely good but the portions are too abundant, so I would suggest going with a good appetite.
The Greek music starts from 9pm and a lively cabaret show at 11pm and 1am with plate smashing. Comfortable seats and the service is good and the belly dancer coming around the tables is absolutely gorgeous.
I have been two years in London and I regret I did not go to Elysee before.

Me and my boyfriend wanted to have a night out in a Greek tavern. Elysee was recommended by a friend but it turned out to be a very dissappointing experience. Staff were not professional enough, menu wasnt so interesting. we ordered Elysee's special lamb dish and while we were waiting for an exciting dish we were served lamb chops. The quality of the meat was ordinary but the presentation was the worst i have ever seen. The entertaintment started at 11:30 and the belly dancer didnot stay for more than 10 minutes and if you didnot want to leave a good tips to her you wouldnt see it even that much. We ordered a portion of paklava we received only two slices in a big plate. For the music entertaintment you have to pay 4 pound per head and it is obligatory. There has been 15% service charge (you would wonder what service) and the waiter was chicky enough to ask us to leave some more if we wish (was he having a laugh?) We can say much more about it but we think it is enough please choose somewhere else to go at least your money will worth something. We paid 107 pound for two, we wouldnt mind paying this if we thought we had a good time , money is not matter the matter is what you get for your money. Many times we paid more than that in many places but we never questioned. This was disaster and nothing can make us to go there again. believe it or not.

Went here for my bday last week, it was dead, the waiters were rude and they were pushing the set menu on us which we didn't want. Mind you the food was good but the service and atmosphere were nil.
Don't go unless you peek inside and see people there first, we were literally the only people in there!

I have just spent Valentines night in Elysee restaurant (first visit). My husband thought he would surprise me by booking this restuaurant. We usually dine in the greek restuarants in Camden Town (brilliant, foodwise, service, atmosphere and value for money),but he thought he would make it special for me on Valentines night, I can assure it wasnt, the food was disgusting, the service was rushed, the plates for our main course were just a bit larger than the plate you put your roll on. It was the quickest £60.00 we spent in under an hour and didnt have value for money, which the waiter was aware of, he knew we were dissatisfied, he took our meals back uneaten, just shrugged his shoulders and apologised. They didnt even make it special for Valentine's, not even a rose on the table. We are both non-smokers and we were sitting about 2 inches away from a table with three people smoking and we could have been placed anywhere as the rest of the restaurant tables were empty.

our original plan was to go to nearby appolonia, but they wasn't sure about places and therefore advise us to go to elysee. that's why I didn't get a chance to read the reviews and that was a real mistake. I have to agree with all the negative comments as we had same experience. me and my boyfriend are very keen on greek food, and we've been to several places around london. we took another two couples and were ashamed of choice. the food was average, stuff even wasn't able to tell us, what ingrediences the food contains. we drank quite a few bottles of wine and made a considerable bill, however, when 'regulars' arrived, we became invisible. there was only one customer aloud to break the plates. bellydancer looked totally bored and all she managed to do during her 5 minutes of performance was to walk around tables asking for money. stuff were so nervous and rude, I could't believe it. go, if you looking for noisy night and good dance and don't care about class of service. and get your dinner beforehead...

This is one of the best places to go out if you want to have a great time. It's all about music, dancing and breaking plates. We went last Saturday at around 9.30 and it was quiet. Come midnight, however, the place was absolutely heaving with a great mix of people all having a terrific time. We danced, ate and drank until the early hours and will definitely be going back.

Booked a table for 5 and was surpised that with 2 days to go this was not a problem. Arrived at 9 p.m. and the restaurant was completely empty (and I mean, no other person there) Went to the table and simply turned around and left - the place was absolutely filthy. They tried to persuade us to stay and told us that in 15mins the place would be full - 4 hours later when we left a nearby restuarant, it was still empty.

OMG !!!! what a night. went Elysee on the 9th sep as a suprise for my misses birthday. we got there at 9pm about half an hour before the band started. the staff were amazingly friendly and helpful(counldn't ask for better staff).
we were seated at the back of the restaurant, which was great as it was where all the entertainment took place.
the service was fast and very friendly the starters were brought out. it was a feast fit for a king. we couldn't finish the mass of different dishes and everything was very tasty.
come 9.30pm the greek music cd was turned off and the live band begain followed by the singers which was great fun as they got everyone involved singing and clapping and plate smashing be warned there is a charge for smashing plates.
the main course came, and once again a large amazing meal that we couldn't finish(don't eat for the day before you visit Elysee lol) main was nice not the best i've had but fulling.
WARNING not a place veggies, as there where four in our group and they weren't to happy with their choice of food.
then the belly dancer came around which had everyone singing, dancing and smashing plates.
after which the singers came out singing happy birthday with the birthday cake wow my misses felt like a queen and i was over the moon to see the smile on her face
then the desert a large plater of fresh fruit which was the perfect end to an amazing evening.
a great evening fairly priced for the westend.
good food, great service, warm and fun atmosphere, would defo recommend for parties or a romantic fun evening for two.
