Uber authentic - the restaurant is miniscule and the decor very retro (but very Japanese). The service is utterly charming but can be a little slow (there is only one waitress who I've always assumed was the chef's daughter).
The sushi is magnificent. It's incredibly fresh, varied, interesting and excellently prepared. The kitchen is also tiny, but the chef is a sweet man and often pokes his head round to make sure everything is going down well!
Food: 10/10 - absolutely fantastic quality sushi. I've been to most of the top Japanese restaurants in London and New York and this is better than all of them and a fraction of the price. More on that below.
Service: 8/10 - As I said, utterly charming, but occasionally slow. I would much rather this than the snobbery of some of the top places though!
Atmosphere: 9/10 - I think it's authentic and it suits the low-key feeling the place has.
Value for money: Sushi is expensive - fresh, top-quality fish obviously has high wasteage and they need to cover this. However, Inaho is nowhere near as expensive as 80% of sushi places. As far as sushi goes, this place gets 10/10 for what you're getting.
The whole place is great - it's relaxed, laid-back and fantastic (if you want an exciting mix go for the large platter - it has all sorts of incredible things!) The Nasu Dengaku - an aubergine dish - is also a must have.
N.B. - not open on Sundays.
