This is the best Italian rstaurant in town and I should know I am Italian. I have been coming here for the past 15years with friend and family for birthday partys. The waiters and owners Lina and Vincenzo are so very very friendly and so is the band (on saturday's) I would recommend this to EVERYONE.

this is a mediocre run-of-the-mill Italian, not a disaster but the food is just so ordinary.
I sometimes think the test of whether a chef can cook is the sautéed potatoes, here they were just typical High St cardboard.
I know veal is not the easiest to get right in an average place like this and sure enough the veal was completely ordinary, a bit chewy and a very ordinary wine sauce
rather expensive for such a modest restaurant as well

It was my wedding anniversary and I wanted to have a nice romantic meal with my beautiful Wife in a suitable establishment.
I have dined a number of time at this establishment, which I have found to always have a friendly atmosphere and a welcoming family owned feel to it.
As always the welcaome was warm and friendly and initially I was not entirely happy where we were seated; however there was a very, very large party of peolpe booked in the main dining area so it transpired we had the best possible table given the crowded circumstances.
The Service was very attentive and staff took picture of us when requested, which was nice.
The food was OK. We both started with the King Prawns, which were unbelievingly delicious; however the veal in a white wine sauce was tough and chewy, the way you dont expect italian veal to tatse.
The attentiveness of the service also went astray as they focused their attention to the large party, which was a disappointing end to the evening.

Perfect place for a quiet, quality mid-week dinner. Well-presented selection - simple but delightfully prepared scallops followed by linguine with lobster was an excellent suggestion; what a change to get bread that was actually fresh. First-class service from attentive waiters who were keen that customers enjoyed their meal at their leisure. We were first-time visitors but other diners were regulars - and clearly you can see why.

First visited Isolabella over 15 yrs ago while in London on business. My broker took me there because I wanted to eat, drink and dance. It was so easy to do all three there. We were there 'til closing. We visted with other guests, owner (and his amazing uncle who taught me Italian (Sicilian??) folk dances). I have gone back numerous times, and it is always the same . . . warm and entertaining. Am going to take my husband there next year because he has heard me say such positive things about Isolabella. There is a reason that some of the dinner guests told us they had been coming there for many years!

I have been eating at Isolabella's for almost 20 years and highly recommend it.
It is still run by the same couple and they and their staff are always exceedingly friendly and welcoming. The interior is regularly redecorated and is kept to a very high standard. The general feel balances traditional and modern well.
The food and service are consistently good, but without being pretentious, unlike so many restaurants these days, and the portions are of a proper size!
For lunch it has a lively atmosphere and makes an excellent location for business lunches and client entertaining. On Friday and Saturday evening the small band gives a lively and very different dynamic making it ideal for a relaxed and enjoyable night out. During the week day evenings it offers a calm oasis for a quite meal away from the rush of modern life.

We had the good luck to stumble across Isolabella on Saturday when we were looking for a place to eat and were a little lost. The best food ever! I highly recommend the squid stuffed with potatoes and olives -- an unusual but highly successful combination. The atomosphere was relaxing, the surroundings lovely, and the waiters friendly and attentive. I've marked the location on my map of London so the next time I'm visiting, I know exactly where to go!

I am a huge fan of this restaurant. I have been going there for about five years: the food is consistently great and the staff are a delight. I highly recommend the lobster linguine - it is not to be missed!

Great little place we stumbled upon wandering around the city. The staff are really great making you feel welcome and taken care of. Some of the dishes blew me away; so fresh and tasty. Not everything was amazing but the portions were very generous. It's not cheap (£48 for 2) but it was well worth the price for a great evening!

Expensive! £480-00 for six ouch!!I have eaten in some of the best establishments in the city and this is not one of them. The food to say the least is ordinary, the astmosphere is non existent the band if thats what you call it belong in a bingo hall!Diva in Kensington is a far better concern if you want a dinner/dance type of place.
