I went here the other evening with my partner. I ahve been told that this is a good restaurant. I loved the decor, and the feel of the place it was what I expected.

The food was nice, although the pasta was undercooked just slightly, but not too much to the point that I didn't eat the whole lot :-)

Would recommend as good pricing and good atmosphere - felt like we were in Italy!!!

Just fantastic! Cosy atmosphere, attentive and friendly service and the food was out of this world. Pizza excellent and the mussels in white wine were the best we've eaten anywhere in Europe.

I ate here with my family - who are Italian and very fussy. The food was excellent - simple, traditional Italian food. It is virtually impossible to find well cooked, simple Italian food in London anymore. But this places serves it.

The atmosphere is really cosy - a proper neighbood Italian restaurant as it should be. Checked tablecloths and candles!

The staff were great, the food was well cooked and good value.

It's a gem - i'm glad i found it.

Ignore the negative comments. I've eaten Italian food cooked by Italians all my life - trust me.

THIS IS A TYPICAL TRATTORIA RESTUARANT that one may find in Lombardy and in the salento; that means mediocre, in these regions the food is cooked to habit not to the way Italian food should be cooked. The pasta here is overcooked and the waiters are zombies who are doing summer jobs; forget it and go to a good place

Went here to celebrate my birthday and was very impressed. The restaurant is cosy and warm and is such a break from the busy tottenham court road outside.

The food was very good on the whole. A few were just ok, but most were spectacular. The starters outshone the main dishes.

Pretty good value. Worked out at £25 a head with starters, main and drinks.

We booked for the 2 for 1 offer before we went to the restaurant. The food was authentically Italian. The atmosphere rustic. However when the bill came, the waiter acted as if he didn't know that we had the 2 for 1 offer (although we told him before we sat down at our table). We had to remind him again. Service was not excellent and the waiters were not attentive.

The service was pretty pathetic. I called up to reserve a seat, asked about the 2 for 1 promotion while i was at it. I got there, and for some reason my reservation wasnt on their system..they promptly make me sit there for about 15mins without saying another word.

Finally sat down and ordered food, asking again abt the 2-for-1 offer. The guy tells me its fine, just mention it when the bill comes. Food came, wasnt half bad, nice cosy atmosphere. Ask for the bill, and theres no offer on it. The waiter guy stands there for about 3minutes telling me its my fault for not noticing that the offer isnt available on fridays. Fair enough it was my bad, but surely when i asked about it his colleague should have told me that too? So the guy stands there for a few mins until he finally half apologises. I cant be bothered by that point, and leave.

Decent food. Decent place. Poor service from beginning to end.

In spite of the Italian staff, the food here is most definitely not top quality, authentic Italian fare. The toptable 2 for 1 deal made the experience very very good value as portions were not scanty and food was not horrible. But it could only be said to be average. A good place to go if you're hungry and don't fancy McDonalds, and if you're after a cosy setting. Might be a little too dim for some people.

I ordered the fried mozarella starter which was quite nice. At £2 a piece, rather pricey, especially given that one of the pieces happened to be extra small. I had a sneaking suspicion that the tomato sauce it was served with was nothing other than Heinz cream of tomato!!!!! Oh well eh.

The spinach and ricotta crespelle (is that what it's called?) was supposed to comprise pancakes al forno but instead appeared to be soggy lasagne sheets - definitely not familiar with the concept of al dente!

Staff were friendly but service did take a little too long. Perhaps because the al forno dish needed time for baking. The starter did arrive promptly after all.

All in all, not a bad feed. I'd have to sample more of the menu to be able to give a more objective review though.
