The food is good but it is definitely over priced. I paid 25 pound for my main course but I have to pay a additional 3.5 for vegetable and when the bill came i have the bad surprise to see that they charged me 3.5 for each small dish of vegetable that they gave me (4 dish). that is really a shame for a restaurant like that. Not a good address even if the food was ok but the portion was so small that you thought that you were doing a degustation meal. Not a good address !

I travel quite often between New York and London. I came across this restaurant from a recommendation from a dear friend. I must simply say the food, ambiance, chef interaction, and decor are fabulous! Michael's place can be mistaken for a top 5 start restaurant in New York City either in SoHo or the West Village - it's that good. The confluence of continental and island cuisine comes across so well, leaving you wanting more... Try the risotto balls AND the wildebeast... as well as the aged rum! Tops in my book. Michael, I'm coming back, bringing my NY and expat friends... Buon appetito!

Insist on some Chinese bacon for the amuse bouches. If you are nice to this pugilist, he is nice back. I can't understand why somebody below thought it was worth one star out of ten.

Food is innovative and satisfying, not for those wishing to gorge. A true Internationally influenced menu.

Catch it now or soon.

Pig Pig's Corner

Tuesday, July 28, 2009 - The whiskey gravadlax with vanilla scallops was a real treat on the eyes. Although I felt the gravadlax was too salty here, the scallops were incredible; fresh, perfectly cooked, very tender. The natural sweetness of the seafood was further enhanced by a sweet salad dressing...The honey tilapia with fava beans was the outstanding dish of the day. The tilapia on its own was very good to eat; fresh, succulent, cooked quite simply really with just some honey glaze to sweeten the meat. However, the fava beans in ginger sauce were so delicious I could have just eaten a whole plate of it and left the restaurant happy.
