Perfect place for a quick bite to eat & if you're not in the mood for cooking or the likes of KFC. Buzzing, casual atmosphere, if somewhat a bit cramped when full. The food is tasty & served in generous portions. Pleasant, efficient service. This all makes it pretty good value for money.

I went for the first time after hearing good reviews from many of my friends, unfortunately I wasn't impressed. Yes the service is impeccable, but they want to fit as many people into the restaurant as possible. I had to move my table so other people could fit into their table. The food was good (small portions though). On the whole 6.5/10

Good food at good prices but the cramped stories are true. I'd recommend this place for take out!

Good value, fast Thai food. Excellent for days when you are in a hurry. The food comes in generous portions and if you have vegetarian friends they'll have a decent selection to choose from the menu. The service could be a bit more friendly, but can't complain about the price.

Great food always served promptly and excellent value for money for this part of town. Good service from friendly staff - emphasis on being efficient rather than in your face all the time.

I ate here with a friend last night and we thought the food was very good (although not outstanding, and our spring rolls came in a very small portion!) Service was good and not over-attentive, and they let us sit for ages after our meal without any pressure for us to leave.

The main complaint though - it's very small and cramped and can get very loud and chaotic when busy! Don't settle for a table right at the front as you get bumped as people go past - it's that small!

I would recommend this place for the food but not if you want a relaxing chat with a friend over dinner...

I am a regular here, either for lunch or quick dinner after work. It's not the best Thai food you'll ever eat, but is superb value for money, tasty and the service is friendly.

Run of the mill Thai in cafe style. Reasonably priced for the area. Great Penang curry though. Service was friendly. Wont be rushing back all the time but a good easy choice for the city.

I recently went to Thai Metro and I have to say I really enjoyed what I ate there. The downside is that the service is too fast with the accent on getting you in and out quickly. However, if you take your time to choose each course (between courses), you can string out the time you are there. This is very much a stop-and-go kind of place, not somewhere you can happily sit and spend three hours chatting and eating. The service could also be friendlier and more akin to the good nature of the Thai people. I would say a great place to eat lunch but not special or relaxed enough for dinner. They need to work on the customer service in a big way if they are to succeed in what is a popular location.

Handy place in town for a cheap bite to eat but its nothing special. The portions are ok and the food is quite nice, but if you're looking for really good Thai food, look elsewhere. If you're hungry and just want a quick bite to eat, then its fine, like a Thai Burger King, quick, cheap and fills a gap.
