Dined here a on lovely summers evening. The setting was nice, food was ok- for the price, I expected special/fantastic food, service and ambiance. Restaurant was in Lobby so anyone walking in or out of the hotel would pass by. The palm tree setting was a little much. Would not be going here again.

I went out to the Winter Garden with my girlfriend and we had a great meal.
The atmosphere was so great, palm trees and candles on the table so romantic.
We had an amuse bouche, prawn lasagna, followed by a chicken consomme with smoke chicken which was awesome, light and flavoured liquid.
We had a bottle of wine to accompany our main course which the waiter leave to "chambree" from the beginning of the meal. The waiter were very helpful, explaining everything that was coming in front of us.
My girlfriend was delighted for the service and food. We had lamb racks with mash potato, which again was cook to parfection and was very tastful.
Our meal so far, no complaint and excellent. The evening was very nice. Finished the main course, we ask the waiters for a 5 minute break before the dessert. We had the dessert tasting which again was so perfect. My girlfriend was delighted by the display and the quality of the desssert. So far so good, the chef came to our table and checked if everything was alright and we were so happy.
I would recommend this restaurant to anyone that wants to have a really nice meal and value for money too. So people book a table at the WInter Garden.

My husband took me to the Winter Garden for a birthday meal. The palm tree setting was lovely. I thought the 3-course set menu was very reasonably priced and the food was of a very high standard. The piano player on the upper level adds to a very nice atmosphere.

Went for afternoon tea and was pleasantly surprised. Lovely setting with the palm trees leading the eye up to the glass ceiling. Variety of sandwiches (and a delicious quiche/tarlett) were lovely and kept coming until we were done. Scones were light and crisp on the outside and fluffy in the middle, served with a delicous jam and extra thick clotted cream. By all accounts the tea was good, but I've had better coffee from Cafe Nero. Lovely background music though courtesy of an ensemble perched above diners on a raised alcove. All in all, a nice way to spend an afternoon.

Visited this restaurant for the Sunday Brunch. There is Jazz music, and the brunch is upstairs on the terrace in quite a small area. The surroundings are stunning. For a set price you get unlimited champagne and you help yourself to the buffet lunch ( roast with the trimmings) breakfast (sausages hash browns, etc) or a selection of other hot dishes and salad. The food is very well presented, and there is a good dessert table as well.It is an ideal place to go for a special occasion. This treat stands in at about £35 per head, but the champagne just keeps coming from 12-30 till 3pm. All other drinks are extortionately priced!
