Ok it's hard to get a table there (open just for lunch and usually very busy, you really need to go at 12.00 on the dot if you want to be sure to be seated - no booking -) but if you manage it, that is simply the best food experience in term of value for money in London, and by far....
3 courses meal for £7 (£10 if you have a glass of the - very good - house wine), delicious home made bread, first and second course are usually great but special mention is to be given to dessert that are just amazing.
The restaurant area is often packed (less during the summer though) ... with local people which is usually an excellent sign.
If you are lucky enough to work closeby like me... that is a real treat.

Probably the best little secret in London! The Kiwi chef is brilliant. She makes 3 course lunches from the test kitchen that are different each day so it's a surprise everytime. Definitely my favourite London lunch spot!
