Cheneston's

Four of us lunched here on Boxing Day. This small, elaborately furnished restaurant, situated within the glorious 'boutique' Milestone Hotel, is discreet, genteel and delightful, just the place for a tryst or two . We consumed excellent Chicken Pot Pie and Irish smoked salmon and Cromer crab and a rather splendid Shrimp Stroganoff, all served with supreme professionalism by Florent and his friendly team. One small complaint however, though: the only coffee available at this Five Star hotel is Starbucks', which is fine, I suppose, if you like that stuff.
