I ate at Fengh Sushi a week ago, and was very disappointed. It has really gone downhill. The brown rice was starchy/sticky (it used to be a lot better), the seaweed salad dressing was so vile I had to spit it out. Shame - because the seaweed itself was fine. Sashimi was ok to slightly below average. My husband thought the unagi was good though. This chain was much better 2 years ago.

After leaving work late I went into the Kensington branch hoping to order sushi to take away. I waited over 8-10mins being completely ignored by two guys who didn't even bother to look up and ackownledge my presence but just answering the phone orders, one after another! I felt as if I were transparent! Luckily the manager came to the reception and I asked to be served. He apologised and kindly offered a small discount. It still left a horrible taste after such a service. This is not really the first time as I tried the branch in Notting Hill Gate where the staff are not overfriendly neither. I have to say that the customer service of Feng Sushi really is not up to standard in these branches in Kensington and Chelsea.

Rather overpriced for what it is, and for a kaizen (conveyor belt) place, the variety of dishes on offer is limited. Not a satisfactory dining experience at all, and shan't be repeated.

Have eaten here many times and will keep returning. Interesting range of dishes, reasonably priced, can usually get a table. I particularly like the deep fried tuna roll and the crispy salmon skin. I'm sure it's not the most authentically Japanese place but I very much enjoy it!
