This used to be a great little lunch-time gem. But since it's been taken over, the sushi is rubbery with little flavour and the rice crumbles apart. Even my favourite unagi is bland and chewy. It seems to have become a little cheaper but at the expense of the qaulity of the food.

Lovers of good, reasonably priced sushi can safely ignore the pasting posted below, which is obviously malicious. I have just been two days running and I am glad to report food, service and value are easily up to the standard set by Junko and her husband before they retired from the business. And now the boite is air-conditioned. Unbeatable!

Absolutely delicious! Walking down the stairs, you are transported into a truly authentic Japanese sushi house. Accommodating and charming staff. Fantastic for healthy lunch breaks in an area that is dominated by sandwich chains.

One of the best restaurants in London. Tiny but perfectly formed. Sushi is impeccable. Presentation is simple and assured. The fish is perfectly fresh, unusual cuts flown in direct from Japan, apparently. The staff are charming. It's a tough job getting a table for lunch, this place is so popular. This place is an absolute diamond, particularly in the Victoria/Pimlico desert.
