Depends a lot on what you order - like the review below says, the stir fried cod is battered and covered in gloopy sauce. But the salt and pepper squid is some of the best around. And the stir fried broccoli is delicious.

Keep this secret! This budget restaurant, with wooden shared tables, offers some of the best priced and most delicious Chinese food in London, (having been noted by Charles Campion in the Rough Guide to Eating, and in the Evening Standard top ten Chinese Restaurants in London). It also delivers take aways. It is located in between Victoria Coach station and the mainline railway station.

The menu is short and is made to order, fast. The restaurants seats about 35 people. My favourite are the Spare Ribs.

I love Jenny Lo's. I work in an office just around the corner and my colleagues and I are forever visiting it! We all love the Won Ton Soup Noodles which are a healthy and tasty alternative to most of the other lunchtime options around Victoria. The won tun's are tasty and light and the soup itself is delicious. It is always buzzy and busy and i have found the staff to be very helpful and the service is quick. I would recommend it for a worktime lunch, although not the bets place if you want a confidential discussion. It is also great value for money.

My wife and I found the food very poor. I had mixed seafood with rice. The rice was cold which was an achievement since the place had just opened and the mixed seafood was insubstantial and of very poor quality. My wife's stir fried cod came in batter (though the menu didn't mention that) and a vast quantity of some sort of glutenous sauce. Both of our meals consisted mainly of sauce.

I have eaten here twice for lunch and was disappointed twice: both the Beef Chilli Noodle Soup and the Laksa were boring and bland, but the biggest disappointment was unfriedly service; my diet coke with lemon order was met with a "we don't do lemon ... and we don't do lime either!" When asked why the response was a "because we don't"". Boring food and unfriendly, albeit fast service twice in a row does not deserve a third visit.

Jenny Lo's is a great lunchtime eatery. It does good clean food quickly and reasonably priced. The aubergine is always really tasty, and it is a place you can return to again and again and get the same quality. Take friends, colleagues, family or clients - it's not somewhere for a confidential chat, but it's lively and a real alternative to a lunchtime sandwich!
