I went there several times and really enjoy the food (crispy duck etc).
The service was nothing but professional, no complain. Good and abundant food for correct price > good mark for a central London restaurant.

Its basically cheap take away quality dressed up under the latest dim sum hype that chinese restaurants are going through. If thats your bag, its cheap, but it doesnt do what it says on the tin.

Went for a quick business lunch last week. Had a very enjoyable time with two of my collegues. Lots to choose from and a great tea list that i rarely see in restaurants these days.
The staff were attentive and kind.
Would definetly recommend Kyms for a llunch bite either for business or pleasure.

The food was horrible! The service was bad. The dim sum tasted like frozen packs and the shanghai dumplings tasted a bit sour. We ended up complaining to the waitress and not finishing the food. Their Dim sum menu is not authentic as lots of common dim sum food was not available.

Have dined in kyms for over 10 years. Have always enjoyed the food and service until a few days a go last week when the service was at the utmost, extremely dissapointing. The food was delicious as usual. I suggest you get your staff together Mr Kyms and teach them a few manners.

Our first visit to London for several years. Kym's provided excellent food, perfectly cooked, at a good price. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Good selection of set meals. We choose the theatre special, the cheapest at a very reasonable £12.95 a head. The crispy duck was so well reviewed on here we just had to try it as an extra!!! and we were not disappointed. We also included the chicken in pineapple which was served in a half pineapple, top marks there for presentation. All the food was freshly cooked, not reheated like in some restaurants if you like eating early evening. Recommended and thank you.

Having gone to this restaurant after having read the good reviews on this website and therefore having high expectations, we were still pleasantly suprised at how nice the food was.
The food, although expensive, was very nice. The christmas pan-pipe music was a bit strange, but overall a good evening and im sure we will go there again!!
Highly recommended.

What a relief that there are still quality chinese restaurants such as Kyms still around. As the weather turns cold, Kyms stays just as warm! food and serive are impecable, the homely atmosphere is great and i cant wait for the Christmas party that we have just booked there. Comgratulations Mr. Kyms.

On the recommendation of my work friend, i went to Kyms last week. In the sweltering weather, we could not bear to take advantage of their beautiful garden seating area, instead we opted for the coolings of their air conditioned interior. The menu poses few chinese dishes that i have not heard of, but the quality with which they are made is what impressed me most. The cooking is kept with a beauty of simplicity. The food is fantastic, the service is the best that i have experienced in london: friendly, attentive staff. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. many thanks to you all at kyms, i will be back again.
