Food was good..we loved the sizzling beef with black bean sauce and the soft shell crab (appetiser). Well, service was quite good. Staffs were attentive and next time we would try the set menus. there are several choices and the price quite reasonable.

I've been to Kym's a few times previously, and have always thought that the food was ok. Tonight however, was a huge disappointment. Everything was dry and chewy, and deep-fried. It was completely inedible. The service would have been excellent, except that at the end, they asked if we wanted to pay a tip on top of the 12.5% service charge. She was insistent, and we didn't want to cause a scene (we were sitting outside), so paid up.
I wouldn't go there again, and wouldn't recommend this restaurant. It's too expensive for what it is, and even if it was cheaper, I wouldn't put such horrendous food, if you can call it food, into my body.

This is a restaurant with good quality food, fine friendly service, good atmosphere at a very reasonable price. Its located in a lively part of Victoria opposite the Prince of Wales pub. I would highly recommend Soft Shell Crab and Mau Po Bean Curd. The second dish is a very traditional and common chinese dish. However, I was impressed with the taste and quality of ingredients. Highly recommended. Will definately come again.

The food was OK and it was reasonable value for money, but what got me was that they added 12.5% service charge and then asked me if I wanted to give 'an extra tip'. When I told the staff they were getting 12.5%, they said they didn't get that, it went straight to the management. So I told them to cancel the credit card payment, knock off the 12.5% and I'd pay it in cash so they got it. They refused. I told them I wouldn't be eating there again.

Used to go this restaurant regularly a few years ago, but haven't been for quite a while. Meeting up with an old friend we decided to re visit here for lunch on Monday. What a disappointment. Everything was mediocre, but the duck with pancakes was truly atrocious, dry, must have been hanging a round all morning. Service was ok and food was hot, but I sadly cannot recommend this restaurant any more. Also it was freezing in there, and couldn't understand the explanation for it

Shocking. Table for 2 stuck in a corner with damp peeling walls, and grotty floor.
Everything took an eternity from waiter sitting us down to each drink or dish arriving. The blamed it on being short staffed, but that is no excuse. I have been to restaurants with less staff, but they know how to organise and prioritise.
The Quarter Duck was the only enjoyable bit of the meal.
Why do restaurants keep such an extensive wine list, only for them to have "just run out"?!
When it came to paying, I took out my credit card only to be told that it was cash only from now on (having just witnessed someone not 15 mins earlier pay with card). The machine suddenly appeared again! An optional service charge suddenly became obigatory. For the price we paid, we expected service and good food. Neither showed themselves!
I should have gone to Dim T, a couple of doors down.
