Service is terrible and host isnt friendly. We had to wait between our starters and the main course for 1 hour!! because they forgot to place our order. No discount was made as an apology for waiting. Food is ok but overpriced.

this is my second year in london and often with my mates i like to enjoy the good atmosphere and food of made in italy,i've been eating in many restaurants that allege to be italian without any clue of what italian food is!!!

It's chaotic, it's frenzied, the service is a bit hit-and-miss, but it serves delicious food in a fun atmosphere. Basically it's about as genuine Italian as you can get- whether you think that's a good thing or not depends on what you're after I guess. Put it this way: I wouldn't come here for a quick business dinner with my accountant, but as a place to go with some friends it can't be beaten as far as I'm concerned.

My advice is to have the pizza. It is without a doubt the best in London, landing on you table on a metre board and oozing melted mozzarella and chunky tomato sauce. It's one of those Neapolitan style pizzas- doughy crust with a thin base. It's visceral stuff. I've had some of the pastas and they're also delicious, cooked al dente like they should be, but I still remain a devout pizza follower.

I used to live by the Kings Road and loved the restaurant. I still go to this very Italian restaurant now. The price is OK, compared to those restaurants in the area. Think about the location. It's one of the few restaurants near King Road which has the terrace even if it's always busy. All the people I know who live in the area love the restaurant. I lived in Italy for years and trust me, you wouldn't find another place where you can feel Italian atmosphere more than Made in Italy.

i've been there a couple of days ago...and everythig was so awesome! great food and very nice service! the bolognese pacceri pasta was the best one that i ever had! i'm gonna come back for sure!

Having been to this restaurant I have to agree with the comments that the service is appalling. The owner is obnoxious and has absolutly NO IDEA how to treat his customers. The only reason the restaurant is packed is because of the location, and whilst the food is OK you can get better food, for less money and you don't have to deal with the complete idiot of the owner if you go else where.

The owner was also incredibly rude to some of his staff who were being much more accomodating, telling them "don't tell me how to run my f**king business" so if you don't want your children hearing language like that in a restaurant, there is another reason to stay away.

This restaurant is terrible. But even with all the bad reviews it will still do well because of the location. I normally don't pay much attention to poor service reviews, but I will now... all the comments about the terrible service are correct. It's not even that the service is missing... it is positivly bad!

Avoid this restaurant!!! The service was absolutely terrible. My friend and I were sat in a corner next to two very loud parties,so we were often forgotten; plus, I could barely hear my friend. After 15 minutes sat on our own, we finally had a chance to order .The starter was OK, but my main was very dry and without flavour. To top it off, we ordered desserts only to be further let down. I ordered the apple tart and the ice cream was absolutely disgusting. We complained to the waiter. When he returned, he explained that the chef spilled salt in my ice cream. How could he serve me my dessert after knowingly spilling salt into my ice cream? I found this absolutely disgraceful and absurd. Good luck!

Did you know that in "Made in Italy" a pizza cannot be served with a soft egg on the top!! Its NOT POSSIBLE. This is not a scarcastic comment but what happened last night when we ate here, this is what we were told. The staff was bullying towards the customers and refused to listen to any comments regarding head chef cooking.

If you buy your pizza by the meter be warned the pizza base will be half cooked and chewy and the spread of the ingredients will be all mixed up. Dessert took 35min to be delivered to the table (it was only 3 tiramisu.....).

In summary, this place is overpriced, the service is poor and the food is basic.

Booked two days in advance but still had to wait 25 minutes for table followed by further 30 minutes without even been given menus. Then left, pitiful service, sad eyed staff, never again.
