Pizza on the Park

Absolutely horrible!! I went there last night and I will not go back again!! Service was awful, pizza was cold, wine was not cold enough, unfriendly staff, and the toilet was out of order….

The icing on the cake…, the manager sees it and he was just walking around without doing anything!! UNBELIEVABLE!!!

I have to say I agree with the last review. I had lunch there yesterday with another 5 friends and the service wasn't particularly great.

All six of us had soft drinks, Only three came exactly how we ordered. Then 2 pizzas arrived at our table which weren't actually ours. When the pizzas did arrive they were of reasonable quality although very difficult to cut with the butter knives provided!

At the end of the meal we all paid by card (annoying for staff I know). We had worked out the exact amount and were about to leave the tip in cash. Much to our disgust as the waiter handed back the receipt to the last of our party he as sarcastically " was my service really that bad?"

It wasn't great, but we were about to leave a cash tip - we chose not to after that.

Had he just waited he would probably have received a tip even if the service had been shoddy!

A party of 6 of us went on Friday 16th to see Kike Dee and her partner in the live music venue downstairs.

No complaints about the music but the service was utterly dreadful. They misunderstood the order and only 5 of the 6 pizzas we ordered arrived. The waiter duly said he would ensure we got the last one. After half an hour of waiting we cancelled it. We had long waits for service throughout. Having already paid £20 each simply for the music we expected better. Not a venue I would choose to revisit.

A fantastic night.We were looked after the moment we entered. The food and service were excellent.One could ask for nothing more than the versatile,wonderful Barb Jungr and Ian Shaw.It was Paradise!!!
