Ben's Thai was good when it was above the Warrington. I'm not sure what changed over the years...but I figured I would try again hoping it had improved...it has actually gotten worse. Pad Thai no flavour. Ginger tofu the same. Spring rolls all roll and no veg. Prawn toast was ok, I guess. Basically just spent 20 quid on food I don't even want to eat and will just throw away. Go to Taxin Thai in Maida Vale...now that is good Thai food!

Some of the posts on here are bizarre. Having lived in Thailand for 2 years and eaten Thai food pretty much every day I can honestly say Ben's Thai is about as close to 'real' Thai food as you can get considering the lack of super fresh thai vegetables in the UK.

I would recommend the Beef Kad Phrow with rice and a fried egg with it.

Bens Thai is superb and also has a lovely atmosphere with really nice staff.

Being a great lover of all food and having been to Thailand, I was disappointed with the food. The Pad Thai was the only dish that was quite nice. The rest of the food wasn't great. We had to send back two dishes as they were too salty.

We went on a very cold day (a little above freezing) and found the high ceiling restaurant (well, an upstairs pub with a few Thai decorations anyway) chilly.

Lots of space for kids and the service was okay. Not good enough to ever go back again.

I am a regular at Ben's Thai and have to say I have enjoyed every dish I have had. The food is excellent value and the range is better than most. I find the previous comment a bit strange as I wished to book a table for my family on new year but the restaurant was closed. How can food be bad that is not there???? I ask you maybe too many new years drinks made them confused about which restaraunt they were in??? I would recomend Ben's Thai for anyone wishing to try authentic Thai food
