Fantastic!
I had booked a table online for a family meal, there was 16 of us in total. The reservation team had contacted me within moments to discuss which menu would be best for our large booking as well as asking if I would like any balloons to help celebrate the occasion.
Once we arrived, the staff were very welcoming and took care of all our needs that day. The food came out quick and not one of us had complaints about any of the starters, mains or dessert.
Will definietly recommend the restaurant for all family parties.

Someone suggested Sticky Fingers as a child friendly place for early dinner, so despite some mis-givings based on the reviews we gave it a try.
The restaurant is in a great location, is well fitted out and food wise for the adults was above average. The kids meal was not very good, a trip to McDonalds would have resulted in better food for our niece.
The service is the most complained about thing in the reviews and in my opinion shows the shortcoming of having service automatically included in the bill. The staff know that in 99% of cases they will get tips, therefore they don't need to try.
The waiting staff appear to prioritise standing round by the bar chatting to each other much more serious than ensuring the customers are well looked after.
in my opinion some strong management would raise the standards and subsequent ratings in no time at all, but I guess people go to Sticky Fingers as there is little competition in that restaurant segment and the management know that people will come no matter what.
Shame, a great opportunity to be a great restaurant missed!

The staff were unexpectedly rude and inefficient. Patrons were treated as an inconvenience rather than an asset. Having lived in New York for many years and looking for a London base for my American food cravings made the insulting behaviour of the staff harder to bear. I would not recommend this establishment to anybody and hope that the staff might be trained to appreciate guests, particularly those who ventured far for the occassion a bit more respectfully.

My lovely wife was out with friends on Saturday so I had sole charge of baby G. He had been fed and watered and with the sun poking through the clouds I decided to take him out for a walk and a trip to the swings. About 5 minutes into the walk he had fallen fast asleep. This presented a dilemma, I could continue on my walk until he woke up or I could use the baby downtime to grab some food. As I was still feeling a bit jaded from Friday night at the Churchill I opted for the food. Unfotunately I was near High St Kensington which is a bit chain tastic. I was in the mood for a burger and chips but after a very poor meal at "Byron" last year I avoided there. Then I remembered "Sticky Fingers". I walked past it and was a bit worried that the loud music might wake baby G. However hunger ruled and we rolled in.
The head waiter was very helpful, I explained the baby was asleep and I would prefer to keep him in his pushchair so he gave me a big table for 4 to myself with plenty of room for the pushchair. The menu came promptly so I had the rock and roll burger (bacon and cheese) and a shandy. The restaurant itself is very old school burger joint, none of the stark austere decor of the new breed but lots of booths, some great Stones memorabilia on the wall and a rock soundtrack. Quite good fun really. The clientelle was a mixture of familes and tourists who seemed to be enjoying themselves. The food itself was a bit average. The beef burger was very dry but the toppings were nice enough. My chips were very bog standard and went cold very quickly. the side salad which is usually a real afterthought was actually very nice. all in all I've had a lot better elsewhere. I wished I had had the ribs which from looking at other tables seemed to be the dish to have.
Service was friendly but didn't really go the extra mile. It would have been nice to be offered a selection of sauces with the burger and a towelette after the meal would have been handy. Most places serving this sort of food provide it. The bill came to just under £17 which was not great value, i've eaten better for less. Having said that I was very comfortable sat there and the baby slept through lunch so he obviously enjoyed it. It looks like the place to come with kids so possibly I will be back but they do need to up their game here. With a bit more effort it could be a really good spot. I think the lack of competition has breed a bit of complacency.

£3.50 for a glass of coke.
so 2 cokes, 2 burgers and chips and garlic bread came to £44. So not great but a tasty experience

Great simple meal. Tasty nachos to start. Ribs as good as any I've had in the States and a great chocolate milkshake...very friendly and attentive service. Left feeling very contented.

Very disappointed with this restaurant. Starter ( Potato Skins ) was excellent, but the wife's burger was not cooked well, despite asking for medium to well done, it was also covered in some kind of goats cheese instead of the Danish Blue listed on the menu. (oxford blue burger) . The caramelised red onions looked and tasted like they had been caramelised two days previously and kept in the cleaning cupboard under the stairs. The sizzling fajitas I ordered was slightly less better, although the main ingredients seemed to be microwaved onions rather than chicken. It looked nothing like any fajitas I had in any Mexican restaurants before and it was certainly not sizzling. Add to that the microwaved "bought in a supermarket apple tart" and Tea that was cold, pitch black and still had the teabag floating in it, staff that hardly speaks English, and I am surprised this establishment has actually got any customers at all. Maybe it was just a bad night and we were unlucky. Needless to say, I decided not to get the T-shirt I was planning to buy.

I actually got a delivery from them and I am so stunned - the burgers were excellent - although maybe a bit too pink for kids! The turn around was so fast I was wondering if they were waiting for my order LOL!
Off to sit in, once again, on mothers day and be pampered with tooooo big portions!
I love this place - I really do! I can't understand anyone who can slate this place!
