I wished I could say what it is I enjoyed most at Beotys. The service was excellent without being over the top. The food was great and the whole dinning experience superb. The ambience at this restaurant is unique, it is not modern, but makes for a very satisfying eating experience

I have eaten at this restaurant over the last 30 years. The food is excellent, the service and friendliness of the staff is second to none. The atmosphere is one of a time gone by - of style and sophistication.

My father took me to this restaurant, I took dates, family and friends. They have all been impressed and enjoyed the experience thoroughly.

Very disaapointing meal and a what I believe is an expensive price. We read the website and decided to go with the majority and not the minority -what a mistake. The people were friendly but the food was bland and would not certainly not recommend to a friend.

We have eaten at Beoty's several times all of which were first class food experiences.I would choose this restaurant any time for special occasions.In fact I shall be eating there next Thursday 28th Dec'.Service is excellent,food supurb,definately our favorite restaurant in London.

When I read what Marianne wrote on October 2nd my reaction was to ask "Where was she ? and What was she on ?" because I could not believe she had been in Beotys, but had been in some other establishment. The I read with incredulity what Rebecca Reay had written on 14th November. Now that was a pack of lies. Whilst Rebecca was in the restaurant, she praised the food, the wine and the service and both she and her partner said how much they enjoyed it ! So who hates Michael Frangos enough to have persuadede and paid (?) Rebecca to write that ? Another possibility is that Rebecca and Craig had the most appalling row after they left Beotys and Rebecca wrote in spite. Beotys is a superb restaurant - just read the other 9 star and 10 star reviews. It simply cannot be bettered in London - for food, for wines, for service, for atmosphere and for value for money. And, in case you noticed Rebecca's other comment - I did NOT get paid to write this - IF ONLY !

Where to start?!? Myself and my Partner Craig, booked a table at Beotys for Sat 11 Nov to celebrate my 29th Birthday. We received details for london-eating website with our tickets for the Good Food Show. The reviews were raving for Beotys so we had high expectations!How wrong could we be?

Atmosphere - well there was none! The decor is in need of a serious revamp. I understand Beoty's has been in business since the 1950's and i doubt that the decor has ever been updated! The toilets were something else! What was with the pictures of the naked men in the cubicle?!?! Also it looked as if someone had cleaned their hairbrush and left the contents on the floor in a pile.

It was very quiet for a Saturday night in the West End. We brought the total people count to 12! There could well have been more staff there than customers. Also the lights were too bright and some background music would have been nice so that we didn't have to whisper to have a conversation.

Food - This was absolutley disgraceful! My starter which was just shy of £13 was made with tinned mushrooms. The other starter was a peice of rubbery cheese. The mains were the worst & the biggest rip off we've ever encountered. I ordered the steak diane and Craig the veal both of which were cooked at our table. My steak looked as if it had been beaten within an inch of it's life. Again the tinned mushrooms made an appearance in the veal dish. I asked for my steak medium-rare, it came well done & stewed. This is not what you expect when you are paying over £25 for the privilege!! The vegetables were hilarious - one small bowl for both of us which contained 3 small, suspiciously tinned looking potatoes. The carrots were also straight out of a tin! They did bring us another bowl - we of course had to pay extra for this. Tinned vegetables at £8 - a joke!

By this stage we decided to decline desert. The deserts were presented on a trolly which had been festering in the resturant - nice!

Value for money - this couldn't be further from the truth. We have never felt so ripped off. Avoid this place like the plague. Our meal came to £120 and it was the worst meal we have ever had.

Service - this was the only saving grace. There were very few people in the restuarant so the service was fast if a little over the top!

DO NOT GO TO BEOTYS!!!!! The previous reviewers must have been bribed to write their glowing comments.

I took my mother, father and 12-year-old son to Beotys to celebrate my mother's 70th birthday this week. She's been going to Beotys since 1959, and loves it with a passion. As ever, the food was delicious, the service impeccable, and the atmosphere relaxed and welcoming. Michael Frangos is a superb host. Thank you to Beotys for making her special day spectacular.

We went to this restaurant on saturday night.The food was so bad, the meat was realy dry.its not worth the money. There were only few more people in the reataurant and to feel even more emptier they didnt even have any background music. the only think that i liked was the servis from the menager, one of the waitresses wasnt realy in the mood.Anyway I would go back there thats for sure.
